man, imagine a normal touhou game that supports local multiplayer or something, like having one player controlling Raymoo and one controlling Marisa (since we only use the keyboard anyway). That would be like one of the coolest things ever, imagine how this would affects dialogues, story and blah blah...
@@aqua4089 that's the thing. I've seen a Touhou 15 prototype with both Marisa and Reimu playable at the same time somewhere on youtube, but it's underdevelopment
Isn't this TH3 and 9? Oh maybe you mean like both being player on the same screen yeah - that would be cool, I actually loved the team system in TH8 so I'm all for it lol
The big thing with TH01 is figuring out that the point items scale in value the more you get in a row without letting them fall off the bottom of the stage. If you keep the chain going enough to max it out, the point items basically become life pieces and you can get an absolutely ABSURD amount of free lives and refill to the max like 3 times in a run. Once I figured that out it only took a few tries to get my normal 1cc...Lunatic is just insane though
@@FJGenso Currently playing it on lunatic trying to see if I can beat it, by the time I cleared the 3rd boss(with lotta continues) I started to question why am I doing this, I think th1 is so difficult that it is fun since it is its own thing
IN border team is the easiest way to complete a touhou game. PCB has terrible stage 4 and Youmu's non spells are hard to dodge, otherwise the game would def be D tier difficulty (forgiving, but way too long).
@@notlol1 bro of course I know it. I am just saying my subjective opinion. PCB has a huge shot-type bias towards Sakuya, completing the game as Marisa or Reimu A is a challenge, Sakuya is ez. I beat Kaguya with Border team on second try or so, it was not challenging at all.
The longest extra stage is touhou 9 extra stage. Also the hardest touhou game is touhou 2 . There's no time for spell you just shot the boss down and no focus.
I will not tolerate HRtP slander and I am disgusted by the lack of HRtP advocates. The game is pretty easy once you learn the trick - chaining, bombing at the right time to get a lot of score (=lives) and then bombing on bosses like there is no tomorrow. It took me 9 hours to complete Lunatic (1cc) from absolute zero (not even knowing the controls) simply because I understood how the game is played.
Why SA so high? I disagree with your point of the 'power system being unforgiving' because it really isn't. A lot of people just compare it to MoF and say it doesn't give you enough power because MoF gives way too much but it still gives more than enough to skip a substantial amount of things and comfortably clear so I think it's correctly balanced. Also it's not that hard to get power back thanks to being able to graze to autocollect and bosses dropping power after each spell. The number of lives it gives you is also quite high so if I made a tier list I'd put it like B tier but this is the only thing I disagree a lot with on this list
I'd make a few changes myself, but that's based on my experience, PC-98 games first 1 is S, 2 and 4 are D, 3 is C (though only beat it on easy for 1cc almost beat it on normal 1cc, but I have beat it on normal w/ continues), 5 is B 6, I'd put at D (I got 1cc normal second attempt) 9, C (i'd almost put at D, but some of the characters are just way harder than others) 13, D 12.8 and 15 don't even belong in S tier, they're like SSS tier their in a whole new realm of difficulty compared to 1 and the first 2 photography games and as there's no 18, I'd put that at B fighting games I've only played 2 of the air ones and I'd put those both at D. all other games, I either agree or haven't played them.
You asked me not to be angry, but I can't. How could you put an 8 over a 7. PСB is a lot harder than an IN, if only because in 8 you have a lot of extra life because of the bombs. In the seventh part there are very long and debilitating levels that gradually reduce your HP, which compensates for a lot of lives. In the eighth part, easy levels and constant bomb explosions that save lives.
