I'm surprised at the negative comments. The designer must love kitchen renos to have done three since 2012. Wow! I think her style, and particularly the artwork, is very interesting.

I think this whole look isn't for many, but I love it. I bought those metal racks decades ago and just keep finding new places for them. Sports equipment first. Storage (bookkeeping boxes cover in wall paper fit perfectly), now in my office for all my techie stuff. Other's don't love them as I do, so it's interesting that an Interior designer took to them!

Your wooden cabinets made by your neighbour are amazing. Very beautiful (!) and very special. A great alternative to the ubiquitous Shaker furniture (which is nice but not as customized and individualistic as yours.) . Compliments from Germany!

That last painting looked like Rick Ross on an oil canvas! LOL!!! Is it the mic/audio on the video or is her speaking voice really strong at enunciating the letter 's'? This kitchen is truly a custom fit for her life with her family. Whenever I see this type of remodel I often think about the resale. This is a kitchen with minimal cabinets, counter space, and a small fridge. I hope H&H are invited back when it's time to sell.

ha yeah. saw that too. the drawer fronts might be solid though. perhaps she just meant "not particle board," a distinction which many people make between MDF and plywood. but yeah.

A high priced, non-functional kitchen layout for actually doing any cooking or baking from scratch. There is no work triangle and almost no counter space for working. You could use the table as a work surface, but the low height give you a backache in half an hour. I think this family does a lot of heat and eat at their giant table. Please post a video of you making a pie, including crust, from scratch in that kitchen and I will believe your kitchen layout works.

I doubt that $5K is a high priced kitchen project. The range probably cost more than the rest of the kitchen. Marble not only is a bad choice for a kitchen top, but also one of the inexpensive stones. FYI, triangles don't not really matter in open concept kitchen today.

Very judgmental, there is no way a non cook is investing in such a range. It is not practical or traditional but the title of the video indicates as such. Not everyone likes pies or baking. You can enjoy large home-cooked meals without requiring kneading, crust, flour etc etc whatever it is that you think constitutes being 'homely'. (a pie can still be baked in that kitchen...many pies)

The space doesnt have a 'designed' look to it, almost as if it was put together by someone who didnt know any better and just happened to get lucky with the kitchen but just so-so with the living room.

Could her 's' be any stronger? It's like she's part snake. - - THREE kitchen renovations???? Somebody's got some deep pockets. - - She's got that big kitchen, zero counter space, 3 kids and a fridge fit for a single person. I don't get it. - - I also don't understand pot fillers. I know the purpose is so you aren't walking a full pot of water over to the stove and risk spillage. But when that large pot is done boiling, you will still have to empty it in the sink.
