*Ceviche was born thousands of years ago. The native peruvians use to eat Ceviche as part of their diet. There was no lemon at that time , but was used a semi-acid fruit called Tumbo. Moche and Chimu Cultures were fishermen. See "Caballito de Totora". Greetings from Lima*
I am enjoying seeing all the love thats being shown to Peru lately, it may be labeled as a third world country by some but it's definitely world class in terms of food, tourism and it's people. Thanks Mark for taking this trip. Even Gordon Ramseys Peru special is airing this weekend.

🔺️👍Peruvian Ceviche is the best, it doesn't have comparison. Ceviche was "born" in Peru, is the original. Actually they have 5000 types of dishes. Peruvian Gastronomy is the #1 in the World. It's so good. So delicious. I love it!!❤👌❤👍

Peruvian gastronomy is NOT #1 in the world 😂 It's not even in the top 10, so not sure why you even had to lie. Mexico has always been ranked way higher and these are facts, look it up if you don't think so.
It is true!!!!!!!🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 😋 Thanks for all.. TIMOUR!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!.. Estamos agradecidos de que sigas dando a conocer nuestra gastronomía... 🇵🇪

Sebastian must have learnt his barista skills in Australia, where we have the best coffee in the world. That excellent coffee and Peruvian food combination is something very special.

Lima is almost cloudy cause the andean go through all the country , and makes a tall wall stopping the air coming from east and might not produces the rain, so all the cloud keeping above the city, giving it this particular gray color by year along.
Miraflores is a nice place ,but it's expensive to stay there... maybe for tourists it's ok,according their life style. Peru isn't only Lima.you should visit others cities ... GOOD TIME !!
Me gustan mucho tus vídeos y q bueno q lo hayas traducido al español.En los d inglés hay cosas q dices q no entiendo.Pero aún así me entero de lo q va el vídeo.Muy bien
Cool vídeo. In Perú you should go to the capital of south American gastronomy Wich is Arequipa. The south of Perú. It has their own type of cousins that is call Picantería. And also a lot of sea food
You have to go to EL ROCOTO close to Ovalo Higuereta in Aviacion Avenue. There you have typical peruvian food!! Close to Miraflores too. I'm peruvian soo ;)

I spent a month living in Miraflores for work. I miss all the food. The corn nuts are amazing - as is all the corn. So different from what we get here in the U.S. But the Ceviche was the best; I had it everyday Also, I stayed right by Kennedy park. It was a great place to hang out. There would always be stands and vendors set up all around. There was also a flower festival one weekend. Such a great city.
L. A. B. Chimmy Lima has many worlds and they all represent different things: Barrios Altos: a popular 16th-century place with a middle class and a poor class. Villa el Salvador: a young place, of the 80's of descendants of the migration of the Peruvians from the places of the sierra in their majority along with Peruvians from all parts of Peru, it has poverty in sight along with a growing middle class, San Isidro: A powerful area, with a majority of the upper class, a few of the middle class. In the 3 zones 3 different Lima are seen, Lima has 43 districts that represent 43 Lima realities
Oh my god, i spend some time in Miraflores 10 years ago. I miss it it so much, the mall near the sea was awesome, i used to drink fresh juice of watermelon and pomegranate all the time to cure my hangovers. You need to try it Mark. I miss Peru so much!
