I found your Fat Tads fascinating. I guess I've never really looked closely at recumbents, nor have I ever ridden one. All that climbing and no motor! From what I understand with ebikes is that a mid-drive motor loses about 11% efficiency due to the length of the chain before power is applied to the rear wheel. It's more efficient to have a rear hub motor directly drive the rear wheel. Applying this thinking to a recumbent (especially with their extremely long chains) it seems they should be front-wheel drive. Does that makes sense? Yet you seemed to climb effortlessly. Now I'll have to look around to see if there are any front wheel drive recumbents. Very entertaining video!

Wish I could take my dogs along but they weigh 70 and 80 pounds, think that is a tad (pun intended) to heavy. Love the dog basket, your pup is having a ball. Also where did you get the steering damper?

All your tires are bald, put some new tires on there man, I actually switched to motorcycle tires last five times longer than regular bicycle tires

By *_Touring_* you mean lugging the trikes somewhere and then riding for an hour or two and then lugging them back home... right? That's not *touring,* that's doing short day rides out of your car, still fun... but that's not touring.
