Exactly, i've said it multiple times already, he's trying a lot of MMOs why can't he just try GW2. It has meaningful open world, huge achievement collection, an insane amount of in game collectibles, raids, it respects people time, the best mount system in any MMO, the best seasonal events, etc. GW2 is SUPER good, i have just played it so much i'm not really playing it anymore

Facts.... I've played free to play since release and I'm 19000 score... Haven't seen any bugs except in the bygone phantasm... Those big guys that do the move where they grab you and smack you into the ground... Can sometimes send you through the floor... You just restart the 2.30 min round but it's pretty shit but doesn't matter, weak bug

Agree, i have 22k score but never ever encountered any cheats and bugs. Sure the movements are clunky even CN player says 1.0 is bad, but it's not bothering me too much because all of it gonna get improved in 2.0.

Honestly the timing is kinda sus, typically major version updates take at least a couple months to release. But ToF announces 2.0 just 2-3 weeks after launch, which is very fast.

The issue with this is is that it gives exponentially less time for low spenders/f2p players to save for future characters they want and whales may not be able to afford what they want in such a crunched time period. Usually catch up in gacha games is 25-30% faster and gradual to alleviate this but Tower of Fantasy is straight sprinting.

I was surprised. This was kinda fast. I remember for Genshin it took like a year. But im ToF we are already in 1.6

The primary source of primogems is daily commissions and events that can count upto average 50 wishes per patch. You can do those without spending, because its so easy even half decent built characters are enough, and by the way not all of them are combat some of them are minigames/puzzles.

@@LuisitoPR69 As far as I know, bygone phantasm is serverwide. Meaning, there's a specific bracket for each server. I play on Hope, an SA server. I know everyone among the top 10 and they are all from Hope as well. So I'm pretty sure this is how it works.

Bruh what God do you pray to? That's amazing luck you have. Huma is pretty g, she shield shatters fast but the thing is she kind of attacks slow. Which is why I guess a lot of people overlook her and prefer King. I love my King as well, but hopefully the new releases of characters won't power creep him out.

And its not really about luck, i just gather mass gold orbs and then when im close to getting the pity 80 SSR i usually get either a SR+SSR or double SSR (cuz u also get a guaranteed SR or SSR every 10 rolls, so i just stack the 2). Well game play is pretty fair so far. The devs pretty much gives you a lot of ways to earn the item required to pull for the game and get dupes for it. And the pity system is pretty g. My only issue is the server lag when the server is at peak hours. The crew I'm in does a daily world boss raid and during that time, the server would lag at times.

En mi caso, prefiero TOF aunque no sea el multijugador tan masivo como en otros MMO, genshin me mata con su farmeo aburrido en las ruinas, mazmorras especialmente en su inicio, jugué genshin desde que comenzó y ToF si tiene más contenido que genshin desde un inicio, se que son juegos diferentes pero ToF tiene modos singleplayer que Genshin pudo haber agregado para tener más jugabilidad, especialmente las ruinas que tienen jefes distintos, incluso ya con los jefes mundiales tiene más que genshin en su primera versión con sus Jefes. En cuando a Tanke y Healer si sirven! Literal tener a Huma que fue la que más se me repitió me ayuda más en PVE y lo que podríamos decir el abismo que otros que tengo, porque necesito romper escudos el healer para coop, porque se pone más difícil los modos coop y cuando no va un healer morimos aún más fácil, y el tanke se necesita para el agroo. Si no funciona tu composición en PVE o explorar mapa cámbialo, por algo puedes hacer set de armas, aunque lamentablemente no tienes un botón para hacerlo rápido como las reliquias. También si hablas que los estándares normales se convertirán en basura no estás siendo justo en decir que literal genshin dejo botado un montón de personajes y lo sigue haciendo, la diferencia es que con suerte tuve una o dos constelaciones de esos personajes 5 estrellas base, mientras que en tof si los puedes maxear más fácil, también los personajes promocionales eventualmente se van al banner permanente. Les cuesta aceptar que Tof superó en muchas cosas a Genshin, en cuanto a jugabilidad en su mismo Open world y las recompensas! Comparando justamente entre primeras versiones.

No endgame content yet for 2 weeks old game in Global. But comparing it to Genshin I say ToF beat the old 1.0 Genshin when it was released. I play both but I'll wait a bit for ToF to drop updates and see it from there :) Not to mention The Tower I believe will let you teleport to different worlds/region like 2.0 updates.

fully agree , ToF Global isnt polished yet , but it will be , also ToF has challenging endgame. wanna talk about exploration ?? ok , even after getting 100% exploration there is still stuff to do daily on the map , you know those triangle shaped Chests ? if you use force decipher , there is a good chance of a dream machine spawning , its like tiny Domain-like Challenges that award wishes and SR/SSR relics , this can be done daily on every single cypher chest on the map ... wich is a lot Meanwhile genshin is just an empty Boring Field of nothing after hitting 100% exploration , dailies barelly award anything , Multiplayer is complete dogshit and even performs like dogshit considering the ammount of issues while Hosting 3 more Players in your own world. The only things that genshin is better at are Art, Music and Story, and NO , Cinematics are geting worse wich is why i didnt mention them , what i mean specifically are cinematics about the Traveller, they are becoming quite mediocre because they reuse the same attack animation but flipped around and with different lighting... I am not bias but as former genshin player I did say in visual effect animation character design genshin is a polish game but in content genshin is boring IMO that is why who prefer content that do can do with a lot of people or more communicate with people in server go for ToF it is much much better in term of content and feel less lonely when you do other stuff with people but if you want polish game and don’t mind playing with other people that much go for genshin

I think having more things to do is a good thing when those things are pieces of content you want to do. An issue with Lost Ark for example is that it has a lot of side quests in these zones that are designed for you to just blast through, and those side quests offer nothing worth noting. Or some games may have collectibles scattered across a map, and collection leads to gallery unlocks, instead of something more meaningful like skins, a cheat menu, etc. It's up to developers to craft content that players want to engage with, if they fail to do that, the players are not at all at fault.

You realize gacha is not a genre right? This is a fantasy "MMO"RPG, gacha is just the business model. Now Asmon is a fan of fantasy MMORPG games and this game isn't some amazing new take on anything, endgame is kinda boring too so 4-6/10 is a fair rating. Just because you like the game doesn't mean it's objectively 9/10 my dude.

But Gacha is a genre, because having Gacha elements in a competitive setting completely changes how a game plays, and how the gameplay loops are structured. Asmon is used to games like WoW, which I’ve also extensively played, which only restrict power based on skill, effort, and time, and a bit of luck on drops. Gacha is a completely different beast, nearly incomparable, because the majority of the in-game rewards will tie back to the Gacha system or an upgrade system in some way.

Anyone giving any gacha a fair objective rating would rate them far worse than any core game, as they have a core fundamental problem, you the player, have no agency over the rewards your going after. The only why to force a deterministic reward you want is by playing for an exceedingly long time, or spending money. These games are built to keep you on the treadmill for a long time, and that is NOT a good quality given how shallow these games are.

@@TheHeartThatRunsCold So far, Tower of Fantasy has been a fun game to explore, and the combat is decently difficult and in-depth at high levels. I give it at decently high rating because of that aspect, but also because I enjoy the resource management aspect of Gacha Games, and Tower of Fantasy us one of the best pity systems of any Gacha I’ve played- and I’ve played quite a few. The fallacy that some players fall for is that the random Gacha aspect is how you get characters, but that’s mostly false: it’s the Pity that gets you characters, and sometimes you get lucky and get them early. So, looking at the game from that point of view, it’s a fun character collector and resource management game, with fun combat game modes, and soon, a Housing System for customization. Realistically, I can’t even give the game a fair review yet, because I haven’t even played all of it’s content yet. It just came out!

People aren´t acting like Genshin invented deserts, people are just pointing out the obvious. Sumeru´s looks has been hinted at by the Devs ages ago, before TOF was even a thing, it´s just weird how TOF decieded to make a major update that follows the same idea as Genshin´s and is based on the same culture, which is something TOF didn´t seem to care about on it´s first area, opposite to Genshin´s which as been a major factor in design. There´s plenty of games with deserts, but not every desert is based on the same cultures. It´s just too much of a coincidence that´s all

Combat is always same, there's no risk, all I do and all I could see even in players in China is just hit hit hit hit boss freeze hit hit hit hit screen full of numbers hit hit hit xd. I don't fin that fun at all. On the other hand lost ark is far from perfect, but raiding is really fun, it isn't just a damage fest, you have to coordinate and combat actually feels great. And no, I don't have to do anything I don't want. If I don't feel like playing my alts 1, 2 or 3 days I just don't do it.

I find the game fun and combat fun in my opinion

ehh idk, currently I play ToF and Lost Ark exclusively, and both are super fun games for me. Lost Ark has a lot of flaws thats for sure, but it has one of the most fun combats out of any MMO and the Raids are by far the best in any MMO currently out right now, at least for me, since every other MMO just feels super old.

Yeah but they still copied a lot from the start. Enemies, some mechanics, soundtracks and so on. But yeah right now they are doing pretty good stuff by themselves

He's not wrong though. I've been with Genshin since day one and it seems people have forgotten how barren it was the first few weeks. As well as the constant comparisons to BoTW.

Yeah man October's gonna be crazy. Been waiting for overwatch to get an update for 3yrs and actually have a reason to comeback. Course it will prob not get an update for 6 months and then become irrelevant but in that time it will be fun*hopefully*.

@@PepperoniRonin. Played genshin and I will forever regret playing it. This game is cut and paste. Genshin upfront said that they were copying Zelda. What I saw from videos in the past weeks, this game did not own up to copying genshin. Thats why the Chinese community hates them, from what I know. Huge L for that company. not going to support their game, and I dont think others should. Correct me if i'm wrong.

@@PepperoniRonin. i fucking love soundtrack that they make for some trailers and different locations (when you fight/explore and so on). Literally just enjoying to walk around looking at landscape(they have an great designers). Sometimes i even forgetting that I'm playing in the gacha game(as a f2p i don't often visit an banner tab :D)

to be honest...it tof not generous..the game will die fast and peoppe wont play..people want to play because of 2 things...multiplayer and generous SSR character...

@@arzurianrein4612 not the same at all. almost all standard characters in tof became trash in future while in genshin 1.0 characters' still decent. And no one care ab 4 star characters in tof, that's a big difference
