New update came out this week and added 4 characters to standard banner (gold nucleus banner), which are Nemesis, Frigg, Cobalt-B, and Claudia. Plus their matrices in the respective new standard banner. So now you can get their outfits/constellations with blackgold.

I didn't realized just how much of a hardcore gamer asmongold was for ToF lmao. I thought he played it for the meme.

The saddest thing in ToF is the polarizing experience of server density. Either you are on a server that is absolutely desolate, very nice to play but borderline single player, or a populated server where it lags to high heaven when doing overworld bosses and is an unplayable slideshow(serverside, since this still happens with max fps). The game is actually pretty well optimized client side for fps, but it doesn't matter when the server is frozen in time and it takes 30sec before a skill used actually shows up serverside. Also on the populated servers you can't go where you want since channels are full and even on full channels, you only see other players in specific areas or during coop raids/dungeons/bosses. Most of this is actually caused by the giant "no loading" zones, examples being Vera, Asperia or Mirroria, where 1 channel covers the whole map, but is still limited to like 40-50ish players.

Its the fact u can do all this on mobile which amazes me, the game quality of the characters and environment is amazing

everything of asmon's suggestions are mostly fixed they changed the the ui added more end game content and modes like 8v8 pvp , battle royale , raids , void abyss and changed some of the old modes , they limited the channels to a maximum of 8 and they are fixing the servers and the lag with giving players more currency i don't spend on the game and it's giving me enough to get most of the characters that i want for 0 to 1 star , (not all ofc) they added server transfer and will add server meging in this version and the new characters are actually getting better and better in terms of gameplay ( u can check the rubilia pv) the game still got issues ofc and i hope that it gets better hope that this helped some people overall the game is really better now

Ui gets better, they get rid from time gate shit in 1.2 and we never saw it again, the game have alot of endgame content, 3 types of PvP, fishing score board, vitality to 360, etc... The game have alot of improimprovement, we can see that the developers want to improve the game and with each patch this is more and more clear, it's not like the g game that continues the same crap for almost 3 years

if you're on a dead server move to another populated server. new 2.4 update has been an amazing experience

2.4 is like a whole new game. Loving it again so far.

game is pretty good, does it still need some work? ofc, potato server need improvement most importantly, some bug fixes, some polishing, but overall it just keeps getting better with each update. beautiful new places, qof improvements, ui changes and they will even ad new worldlevel for new players in 2.5/6. the trailer for 3.0 looked really good and can't wait for the cn livestream saturday!

They have server transfer and they're going to add guild content like guild bases and guild vs guild, I've been playing since day one and I can say they have improved a lot of things, rewards are also getting better.

Didn't expect ToF actually looks far better than the first impression we got years ago, even compared to Blue Protocol now. Hopefully Genshin delivers Fontaine on par or better than this.

I don't know. Personaly, the game is fantastic. For an Anime MMO game this is quite a feet they have achieved so far and they keep on improving. I enjot it. The only downside for now is the server lag and a bit hard to catch up to the main story quest if you have sleeper on it for a hile.

There were a TON of improvements this patch....you should try it again....some things still suck of course but overall it's a LOT better.

The real fantasy is hoping this game figures out how to be actually good.

the best thing on tof for me is that it make me see how good other games are, but i really like the characater creation, but only that was good for me.

I kinda wish i could tell a better summary of how the game went. I love LazyPeon but since he was sponsored by the game+was playing the game extremely casually(not a bad thing, probably for the better with ToF nowadays) he just doesn't really have any insight on the game. I honestly love ToF but with every good thing the devs do to the game, they fuck up 2 other things. I want the game to succeed but it was dying since the Vera update slowly but surely.

sadly the game had a massive launch that didn't go too well. It will be hard to get people to return no matter what they do but i hope they succeed. Who knows maybe one day they will get atleast 35% of it's playerbase back

i hating on this game too long and make myself blind, bcs when i return to the game now damn it's so much better and basically all the complaint i had back in the day is gone, but still the lag issue kind of hit sometimes at the peak time like night, but tbh the game is good now.

players are not put on their own individual phased map....... they only had that for the launch of the game. there was like 100 phases, now there are 5, and its pretty fucking impossible to find a phase where there are not people.

Used to enjoy the game alot back when it was released. I afk farmed for unicorn mount for 20-24 hours and then the vaccum cleaner mount for 17 hours. There were so many people back then now it hardly fills the first channel.

Time gates in this game is choking progress. To the devs, bigger channel capacity, less punishment for missing time gates.

The game has really horrible end-game progression tied on constantly replacing your weapon with the next best thing (each new being better than the previous but it's tied to money/gacha) and constantly hoping you get better RNG rolls on your gears (where you could be grinding daily/weekly and never getting progression). The MMO progression is being dragged down because of it being a mobile game also (time gating, daily grind, RNG, and P2W). It's hard to feel progression on this game and Peon didn't really showcase what it really is about when you play MMO - endgame progression and playing with other players.

you can change server Asmon, in Solaris we still see plenty of people everywhere, I recommend u to comeback rn since Fiona and Rubilia is coming in like a month and both are top tier characters, also after that 3.0 will be a amazing update, i play it everyday still and it keep getting better, the matrices of the new bosses are also available f2p from gachapon machines and they are also giving a free limited ssr from 4 different ones rn too.

I really did like TOF, the exploration was fun, and lots of cool things to make it faster and or unique, However content is still time gated by Account creation/playtime. Like honestly, you're a lot better off starting a new account, specifically if you're a F2P player that didnt have much progress, since the latest characters tend to be a lot stronger and more fun. Servers will boost your exp gain massively, and you'd have a clean slate of pulls you can get from exploring along with the premium currency. The Con being enemies level scale, which makes the story a pain. The community is fairly nice enough to help out new players, so you can easily finish your starter notebook missions. I will say physical characters are still very underwhelming, which has not really improved since launch.

For me the game would have been great if the actual multiplayer gameplay would be more than it is even tho they call it mmo.

My biggest concern with the game is that in the honeymoon stage i played it for 2 months since it came out then i had to take a break from it 2 months and all of a sudden my server is somewhat empty... and im so undergeared and underleveled and i reached out on their discord on what to do... and i needed help i forgot what to do or what dailies are worth it or how to level up quickly and to increase CS to be up to speed but no... even the community there said its no point in doing that because my server is dead they said on top of that it takes weeks to get to high CS its so fkin annoying i cant even get back to the game content in 2.4 it doesn't seem NEW PLAYER FRIENDLY either on top of the fact that so many people used cheats or other methods to get free stuff for free i seen people getting 6 Star (c6) chars using exploits and they did not ban them like wtf and now im so left behind and no one even wants to help or rather the community seems dead to me and its just alive maybe in CN but not in the global... to me is very concerning i would rather play this as a paid game but make it singleplayer with the possibility to invite 3 players to chill with on your world or something like that i would pay for that instead of having this "PSEUDO-FAKE MMO" experience to begin with. It doesn't feel like an MMO its like an instance of an instance of a server which really pisses me off and other players as well. Its so hard to match up :| keep up with other players... getting at least in the raids or other aspects of the MMO but no the UI is a total mess always confused on what to press and on what to do... i feel like in the first 2 months if it wasn't for some guides on how to navigate tbh i wouldn't have played it... so in the end i quit. Also another dirty thing they did they made 1 server transfer free but the subsequent ones after are paid ! What a stupid mess that is!

I am happy for the 150 active players out there.

The server issues and lag was the main reason I quit this game, they could have either made this game a completely a single player experience or make it a real mmo instead of doing a half asssed job, I still remember how fked up the racing events were in this, pissed me the fk off with lag

The unfortunate thing with ToF having that underwater stuff, is that in Genshin, we have the Water Nation of Fontaine coming out towards the end of the year and people will compare it to ToF.

The biggest issue this game has is the polish is non existent. Game has so much jank and poor optimization even though it has a lot of good ideas and is legit fun at times.

kinda sad that all the youtuber that talk about tower of fantasy new version fail to mention that the old 1.0 timegate is no longer exist. every old player did not even know that, most of them think timegate still around (like puzzle, world boss chest, normal chest) those time gate is no longer ingame.... yet no one, absolutely no youtuber mention it.

It's okay. It looks cool and shows how some games just refuse to do more, however it's not as "full" as people think. Most of the new map is just empty sea... I've been having some fun but it's short lived sadly.

I play tof and I do find it fun but I hate the level cap increases. It's at 90 now, and unless you're hard grinding every day it's pretty rough keeping up. It wouldn't be an issue except that endgame content I would do with my guild are locked behind the level 90 cap.

I'm already knee-deep in a bunch of gacha games, and if I jump back into this one, I might end up spending more money than a broke college student during a midnight snack spree. I played ToF on launch with lots of expectations and they all got shattered. So there is no way I would ever go back. Looking at it now with the new sceneries, I do think it looks good even though it's not appealing enough for me. Having a sponsored streamer reviewed the game and praising it left and right certainly didn't sit well with me also LOL. Still, I would still hope that new players give ToF a try and see for themselves. I am waiting for wuthering wave now. Punishing Gray Ravens is the first game where I experienced the "perfect dodge" system (it's called matrix there) so it didn't come as a surprise to me when I played ToF. WV is made by the same dev so I'm expecting the same mechanic there too. It'd be fun

This was way too paid to win for me. Grouped content encouraged non-whales to be healers or tanks because DPS was reserved for whales. I didn't like that.

After I've been 7 month of not playing this game, I've come back to play it and realized that my server is dead and not a single player is active. Luckily you can server transfer but you have to pay it.

I been playing tower of fantasy and let me tell you... there noting to do in end game don't play it, the gear system is heavily timegated

The review for 2.4 ToF is something else, your gameplay is something else too... I'm explored that map since it launch on first day of update on CN server. The first time you see it like WOW, It huge,.... etc, CN update 3.0 is almost near, whole new character that seem like not release to this game lol... Back to 2.4. Login 7 days they will give you a seaglide to move faster... Underwater have 3 floor but 4 zones to explore. 3 zones will give you 3 parts of mount that can go underwater. 2.4 have 2 boss, 28:23 1st is Elements Boss, cus this boss have all Elements, this boss appear in giant waterball floating in the air. 2nd boss: depth down the dragon thing... if you want to explore this zone you must to kill the boss first... or else the heat or radiation will kill you at the bottom... CN give you alot of gacha point but it's nothing to compare to tho whale and even on global... so i left lol, This game is not f2p friendly for sure....

I literally couldn't do content because no one else was match making for it and I couldn't solo the content even though I was the right lvl and score I stopped caring after that idc about this game anymore

to be fair, when asmon dives onto a "Gacha Game" he usually Mocks it to heck for the entertainment of the viewers, kinda makes sense the devs wouldn't want to sponsor asmon. Edit: Even in this video he mocks the game lol; i don't like ToF either but hell yeah, hopefully in the future i would be able to play it again.

I truly loved and enjoy my experience in TOF back in the days but what truly made me quit the game is the huge gap between the numbers of female and male simulacras. 🤣 Like I wanna pull a male one but for some reasons (*coughs* waifu sells more), the game keeps releasing more and more female characters. 🤣

My server is so dead, the game is really boring currently and has absolutely no content to do, all matchmaking is a ghost town and takes forever to find a match for anything! It’s like NA has no one playing.

i really enjoyed playing ToF but i couldnt enjoy it anymore at some point because despite having three 6* weapons, i didnt have good enough matrix sets and my damage was barely anything by the time i got to Vera and abyss. it became damn near impossible to do anything as a free 2 play. just couldnt have fun
