I think Evankhell summons the power of the ancient one (the stand) through a contract or something, but Rak IS an ancient one himself, so eventually he will fully unlock his potential. He won't have a stand of an ancient one, as he is the ancient one himself lol.

@@drbonehead I remember the data of Eduan Khun in the hidden floor mentioned he climbed the tower with people of Rak's race and how they controlled the elements. Probably some hints in there, but I can't remember.

I wonder if the ancient Evankhell made a contract with has some sort of grudge (probably against Jahad for wiping them out?) because the purpose of the contract was to just "live", as if the ancient is waiting for an opportunity. At least that's what I'm remembering without wiki'ing anything.

I love the part when Rak saw evankhell's flame and he was like "that flame look oddly familiar" i mean he says something similiar and I was like.. "oh.. here we go.."

I guess he has also lost his memories when he was cursed because that's why the flames are familiar to him and it wouldn't make sense if someone other than him from his family knew about the flames.

Yura Ha is a product of the stillbirth curse but she's also associated with the power suppressing one, isn't she? If I remember correctly its mentioned multiple times how she's weak and slow for a member of the Ha family, though it might be irrelevant.

Another point to add into this whole curse thing is that when Khun Edahn sees Rak's ancient power he says that he was told that the Ancients were all killed or cursed. Not only does this show that Rak could be among these cursed ones, but Yura herself could have a sealed Ancient Power

Remember during the train arc, when evankhell unleashed her flames, just on the next scene there was Rak fighting the guy with spells, forgot the name. Then when Rak saw the flames, i think he feel the connection to it like he know it was something familiar to him. Maybe that could also give a hint that he is a cursed one with locked abilities and later on when he will be much more in contact with Evankhells stand, he will then break the curse. Just my thoughts :)

rak might be one of 5 ancient ones, ecankhell isnt but the leephant within her is. The bull the other guy has is one of them too, Rak is probably the main body or ego that held on to the earth element. The ancient one is probably a being and Rak is probably the result of that being losing 80 percent of its ability, the current chapter when he transformed supports this somewhat

Based off what Kuhn edwaun said about Rak on the hidden floor we are left to believe he is a direct descendent of the native ones. That coupled with what we know about the original giant native one who split itself up into five elemental type beings, we are left to connect that Rak is the descendent of the rock one due to his shinsu affinity. Now that being said i don’t believe Rak has the same type of power within him that evankhill and kelhelam have in them, for that fact we haven’t been shown him contacting with a being inside of him.I also don’t believe evankhill or kelhelam are actually descendants of the native ones but rather they have contracts with the original elemental power that was split off from the original native one. This could be due to them killing the previous owner of the said power and it transferred over them in hopes of surviving. Another possibility could be they just found where the power was hidden away and made a contract then. Anyways we know the being within evankhill is seeking to survive until the day it finds what it’s waiting for although the being itself isn’t sure what it’s waiting for. We also know that Rak felt an affinity to Evankhells flames when he saw it in the last station, he even got a power spike being near it. So what if the powers inside evankhill and kalhelam are waiting for a direct descendent of a native one, one in which can take in all five elemental beings and reform the original giant native one. Now taking this one step further what if Rak is the vessel for this to be possible. Could we see Rak take in evankhill or kelhelam’s being with in them when they die..hmmm? Problems with this theory other then being highly speculative are: 1) that it comes off a little cliche 2) we have no idea what the two beings inside evankhill and kelhelam or they themselves think of Rak since they have met him. 3) There has been no dialogue between evankhill and Rak after last station about how her power had an affect on his 4) Rak could have the Rock being within him it could just be sealed or when this power is inside a direct descendent of the native one the power itself becomes apart of them rather then manifesting as another separate entity.

Firstly, this is a fantastic video about the curses, and I definitely missed so much of this info even re-reading the webtoon lol. But, remember how Evankhill keeps the sniper (i forget their name) for the battle to rescue Jinsung Ha because of a secret room with an unspeakable danger? I kind of have a feeling that Evankhill will have to sacrifice herself to prevent that danger from destroying everyone, but in turn, it could complete the contract with the ancient one and it will be reborn? And since Rak is there, this action could unlock at least 20% of his full potential.

if you wanted to expand your theory, you could add that Baam could eventually break the curses because that is his superpower. The breaker of curses or the key to the tower (final key if you want to be specific).

ok here me out, i was rewatching the anime (this could be different to the source material) but the woman in the black march at the crown game said " First, be rejoiced at our reunion, then rest" something like that. and i thought why would Bam celebrate such, he just found rachel i dont underssssohmygodwhat. i kept looking at the woman in the sword and she looks exactly like rachel just older. same hair same eyes and maybe explains why the sword has this odd keen eye on Bam, what does everyone think on this?

So I have got 2 questions maybe they can be answered. So the first one is has Baam actually ever killed anybody? And if yes when? And the second one about his age. I think it is said that his age is impossible to find out. But couldn't Baam just ask the leaders of the families?

1. Yes Bam has killed. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the first time we saw him he kill is at the first test of the 20th floor. And then he killed a lot more in S3 2. There’s a rumor that Bam is over 10k years old. It’s not confirmed yet. It came from the fact that he was killed by Jahad very early on in the beginning of his reign. She came outside the tower and asked for some being to grant him life again. And then when he was resurrected, he was stuck in a cave for who knows how long.

Adding on: It’s kinda complicated to find out Bam’s age becuase we don’t know how long he was dead for and if those years as a dead baby counts towards his age He could probably ask the 10 great family leaders but I’m not sure if they know a lot about this topic

Evankhel is essentially has and ancient one residing in her body. When she unleash her power she summons a fire elephant that's the ancient one. He chose her. They have a conversation I forget which chapter it's in the latest season.

I was gonna argue, that maybe the more accurate term for one of the curses is "turns you intersex", however, thinking about it more, that sounds pretty messed up, and I'm sure SIU didn't mean it to be interpreted that way (while intersex people do face a lot of discrimination IRL, most intersex conditions aren't a curse and don't affect people's quality of life). Then again, Jahad is... Well, he might have a noble past, but he certainly acts the part of a tyrant. When it comes to gender issues he's consistently pretty weird about it (cough cough the Princess System). Maybe that curse was genuinely just Jahad being an awful person on multiple ways.

Rak probably unlocked his power because of bam , as we all saw bam can break curses and spells as if they are nothing so maybe he somehow unintentionally broke raks curse.

i personally think Evankhel has an ancient inside her and since the one she has is male SIU said shes not perfectly female. also i think Rak himself is an ancient one and he will unseal his powers after he meets that white/flower-looking Wrathaiser from Grove which was freed after that Khun member sacrificed himself. remember there was one and hes old, so i theories he may teach Rak.

In regards to aka and the first curse dont you think aka would have been a ranker by now i just think that even if aka was born from a person who sided with v and arlene that happened thousands of years ago and idk how old aka is ,but if he/she is that old aka would definitely be much stronger by now With evankell and hellam i think they made a deal with the ancient ones or had some part of their body replaced with an ancient one to access their powers i definitely dont think they are ancient ones themselves Finally i dont think rak had his powers sealed off since hes just starting to learn and use his powers he probably had either his memories tooken from him or maybe put into some sort of coma at the time of his birth and then woke up in the present day Idk those are just my thoughts on this b uhh t great job bonehead love the videos

Do you think maybe Arlene was struck with the stillbirth curse? No one knows who Baam actually is except for Garam, when he seems like he dies on the floor of death, he expels TONS of shinsu and seems to not die. Perhaps Arlene gave birth outside the Tower to two kids, one being Baam, perhaps the elder sister to him was Rachel? They both have the same colored-eyes, while looking a bit different. No one seems to know who Rachel is either.

I dont think evankhell is curse. I think he can move his body/mind to different body. That is mention on season 3. That evankhell is different person every time they see him/her

Interesting theory but it lacks enough evidence to proof this hmmm I think The wraith raisers could be humans but got cursed by jahad and that's why they look like that. There is also something interesting about the mirror enemy of Rak. I mean in yhe hell train arc hidden floor the sworn enemy or something. Why was it a big snake in the see for Rak. Rak is one hell of a mystery and his potential too is amazing but he and Khun got 1 power up and that's it... well if u don't count thos ice ability of khun and only see this fire ability of him. Kinda unbalanced this team even with Khuns strategies.

Yeah I think Rak is actually an ancient one. Maybe his race was the only group who truly survived. The rest of the ancient ones might have been wiped out and need a host to survive.

Rak is an oddball character because to be honest... apart from the floor of Test instant graduation he only have a big mouth, and so far every major fight he is used as a mop. The question is Evankhell. She have ancient powers but she is having conversations with that elephant looking ancient.

Is this basically referring to the problems of the transgender community but through a fantasy approach? The curse by not being able to reproduce is similar to how transgender people can't reproduce (naturally, without other forms of conception), think about it in a respectful manner. Male to female don't have biological female reproductive system (uterus, egg), and female to male do not have actual male fertilization system (sperm). SIU did a really good job representing the LGBTQ+ community with other characters so I wouldn't be surprised by this.
