they have a higher penetration value, but are low on ammo per unit so you turn them off when you dont want to waste them on units you can penetrate with normal ap shells

The panzer T-34(r) is a real thing and was used quite a bit, because while russia liked to burn fields and stuff, they sometimes neglected to send ammo depots to kingdom come.

Plot twist: front line with control over objectives is actually more realistic than Wargame ;)

@@Pr0g4m3m4s7eR I mean in real life an enemy can still supply its forces unless you destroy or capture suppy trucks, even supply trucks can go trough harsh terrain , in this game if you capture flanks forces just surrender and this is not realistic. That never happened.

Arhatu Destruction mode is the most unrealistic way to represent warfare. One because during combat troops would have a hard time figuring out the casualties they inflict and process them in a way to know if they win or loose. But they can figure that they are or are not holding this or this vital objective. Second because actual fighting is not what inflict the most damage to troops. It is the encirclement resulting from a breakthrough as you leave heavy stuff behind and run for your life. Now for your point about resupplying. This is a very misinformed statement to make. I invite you to check history and see that when you are encircled, you already are DOOMED, no matter what your supplying options are. Your ennemy is not going to let you drive your supply trucks nice and cozy to your friends stuck in the pocket. And sometimes even your environment won’t let you. I will take just a recent event to emphasize the point: in Stalingrad the Germans were trapped. In Stalingrad the Germans starved even with airlifted supplies which sound much easier than trying to sneak trucks. In Stalingrad Germans surrendered and would never get the initiative again. So no, Wargame is rubbish when it comes to victory conditions compared to SD. Would they make the frontline mechanic in Wargame, I would probably play it again :)

Because that is pretty realistic history. Germans often used Beutepanzer if they had no resupplys for maintaining their own tanks.

@@matthiasschmitt2311 Its a cop out by the developers, they cannot be bothered.

German tanks sucked dick, good concept ideas but breaking down every 100-200km made them worthless. A captured T--34 was probably a better option in the long run.
