We regularly hear complaints about toxic workplace environments.
It's easy to get cynical about employment in Florida, because we hear the horror stories.
Tyrranical bosses, abusive co-workers, toxic environments, bullying, you name it...
The HARD TRUTH however, is that there isn't a particular law which prohibits specifically a workplace from being hostile or unpleasant.
Abusive management, rude behavior, offensive actions --- none of it is legally actionable until a law is violated.
Much of the bad behavior in the workplace doesn't rise to the level of illegal.
However, a hostile work environment is a red flag, and may lead to illegal actions taking place sooner or later.
Once that line is crossed, and the regulations are violated, then employment lawyers like myself have options to seek remedy on your behalf.

I'm the only one at my job that has to be here. My coworkers take off when they want, weeks at a time and the they complain if I'm 5 minutes late cause they have to leave their work laying around for me to clean up. I guess they think I'm here to work for them

What about a female environment where they gossip personal business and u know they are audio recording us behind our backs because we have cameras but they say there’s no audio but we know there is how do u prove it?

If a hotel pays all bellman equal hours, let say $7h, but every moth or 2 moth they need to storage more luggage bc the have an event at the conference, than they pay them more $20h. Can the hotel select just a few bellman? Should they give everyone the same opportunity and equal payments for those events. Can some bellman make more hours than others? Thanks
