Be nice if you turn off some of the “safety” features that cause more problems. Reversing the car and it will slam the brakes on if you roll back as a car is 90% past you, whiplash from the sudden stop and alarms blaring, very annoying
I am a bit irritated with the front alarm system in my Toyota C-HR 2017. When stopped and in D gear it keeps beep-ing and showing me the red sign as there is an obstacle in front. Once I start the car it disappears. I am irritated also because it is not the first time this happening and I am tired of bringing it to the garage and making appointment and wasting my time.

Same thing here. It was a big big mistake to buy one. I would rate the car 1 star. The systems are crap. Comparing with other cars. All Toyota saying is “ we sorry” go to dealership. There they would say is ok the car is fine. Either they are fkin useless or they don’t want to repair it. Last Toyota I will ever buy.
My 2017 C-HR, I found the lane keep alert is too sensitive or it has a problem? Even I set it to the lower level, it still often beep when I am on a motorway, I am 100% sure I kept in the middle of the lane(tested intentionally), no sway, but it'll still getting alert sound. Not just happen once but quite often, it is kind of annoying and my wife thought I am driving careless causing it to beep, but I am not!
Cant turn off mine for some reason. I want to turn it off because for some reason the radar burned and every safety sense doesnt work. I get this intrusive warning in the dash that doesnt go away and blocks the digital speedometer. The radar costs 1800€ to replace and the sad thing is I dont even use the car much since im smart working, seems its not part of warranty too 🥲
