Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have 2018 Toyota Camry four-cylinder engine .2.5 Liter with 105,000 MI. Just starting overheating. I want to replace the thermostat and housing unit and the water pump. Other than the toyota dealer parts department. Do you have any recommendation where I can order those parts?
You have to have install oem you can find a resaller in our country toyota interduce very bad system The price for resaller is very different than the price for the customer
Well new car's have more electronics and parts which means more chances of having issues. But it depends cars to cars some time we found car owner don't care about his vehicle but never having issues but some owners take care of his vehicle and still have lot of issues. But i have few suggestion about new cars. 1 never change transmission oil.old oil keep particles of gear parts as transmission gets older transmission parts particles in oil help gears and clutches to work smoothly in my experience 70% transmission start giving issues right after transmission oil change. you can change oil filter then if oil is too bad just replace one or two litter oil also if you already feel bad shifting then you should go with oil change. 2 change engine oil regularly good quality oil 3 always use injector cleaner every 4 months add in fuel tank 4 time to time do self inspection under the hood for leaks 5 always use oem air filter for engine
Bought used camry xse but has code p26ca, changed the water Pump but code still remains. Looked everywhere and cant find any help on the internet about the code or fixes. Please help
Hi carfaults here, It should be a coolant pump because everything is included in the pump controller, motor, and dignostic system. Most of the time pump impaller stucks if you found someone change the pump before you can swap thr pump controller and keep pump side that should work we do this sometimes
@@senadintatarevic6397 did a lot of coolant spill out? i wanna do the service myself and replace just the side piece but was wondering if i’d need to add more coolant and purge the system
@@senadintatarevic6397 glade I know now, should’ve looked at my notifications 3 months ago lol…I just forked up the money and replaced the entire water pump, lesson learned.
