I just performed my first ever brake job this past weekend. I even swapped the rotors with brand new ones. Thanks to your videos, I was able to do it all, successfully. Thank you SO much!
Thanks for this. I've just replaced my rear calipers and refurbished the fronts, but I didn't think to add copper grease to the sliding pin thread or brake grease to the shims that the pads slide over. Good tips - I'll now do it to mine.

heck youve overdone the copper grease only a smearing dont put too much on, to be honest silicone or ceramic grease, but either way way too much grease there. why....Brakes, & Grease!!!!! also please wear some appropiate footwear, I can only count to 9.5 with my toes now!!! but other wise good video if its your first time, with mr2s the rear calipers are, akin to Alf Romeo ownership!!! ive ownd 2 over the last 20 years or so, not a nut & bolt ive not undone!!! 🙂 oh top marks re pointing out the peg/dowel on the inward pad & lining up with the piston slot :-)
Rust!!!!!! Omg thing is sad, not long till its rusted through. Noticed giant aftetmarker rims, how did you keep the offset of 20 to 30 mm? Or has some one ruined the handling by squaring all 4 corners? Must Get, the proper circumference and offset tires as designed, you have ruined the balance and performance of the car, up the gear ratio with way to large tires. Breaks looks lost in that giant hole. Do it right, 15 inch rims offset tire width up 40mm. Then drive it.... rims must be 15 inch.. 15 inch x 6 front + 45 offset, 15x6.5 +45 rear is stock, you can take this to 15x6.5 front 45 offset 205/50/15, and the rear up to 15x8 +35/ to 38 offset with 245/45/15 tires. This set up is needed to maintain the cars designed performance.
