Never actually geocached, but I was adventuring out on some trails with my wife and we found these odd little rocks and some small tree markings and after going off the trail for about 15 minutes following them we came across one. It was a journal and photos of a woman, it was someone's grandmother, and that was a spot she had loved to go to all her life. There were even newspaper clippings about her and such. We sat and read through it and looked through the pictures and just stumbling across it out in the middle of Michigan's UP was pretty amazing. It was cool to find someone else's memories and get to appreciate them, and to be led to such a beautiful spot. Great experience.

If it's where I think they are, nearby is a huge piece of geo-art of a kokopelli. It takes about 20 miles of hiking to get every geocache in the formation.

Geocaching was some of the funnest dates I went on with my wife before (and after!) we got married. My brother actually proposed to his wife when geocaching. He hid a can opener in one spot, and in another spot he hid the ring, sealed inside a #10 can.

@@NewstartGarageOZ them grammar nazis are gonna getcha! ;) As a teen, one of my favorite morning rituals was to read the local newspaper and find the daily errors. Personally, it's not worth my time to point out grammar mistakes on social media, but if you're being paid to ensure good spelling and grammar then I will excoriate your mistakes.

Yeah, except he isn't very good at it. The customer relations needs to be done by Randy. He can make anyone in the worst of situations comfortable. Rudy's a bit awkward. Probably the Canuck in him.

Hah, imagine this situation in Feb up in the mountains but the vehicle leaning at a steeper angle, and obviously no sand just a munch of trees and rocks and much more of an incline. Could get rolling like a football at breakneck speeds in a hurry, this truly happens to me a year ago. No winch and yes my serious bad no recovery gear. Six hours later from late day to mid evening I was finally free and on a trail back down the mountain. I was able to decrease the lean angle by using rocks and fallen tree limbs on the lowest two tire, and while doing so I got the front end to point down hill. Had to loop around in the snow, trees, and boulders to get back up hill to a trail. Funny part is this is the same trail my rig slid off in the first place. Blessedly my second run with more beans, but more pucker factor I actually made it. You know when your body is on such a high adrenaline rush you feel jittery and some times feeling like you need to throw up, ya times 10 the second time trying to get off that dead end trail.

One time I was hiking to go fishing with friends and had to take a massive crap. I ran off the road behind a tree and let loose some explosive diarrhea. On the way back out the people next to us in the parking lot were bitching about how someone shit all over the geo cache box and had to clean it off with sticks. I honestly felt bad but I didn't see it.

Love you all standing at the fuel pump, hands free pumping, recording. In the UK you have to keep the trigger pulled ( no locking latch) and if you start using a phone or camera the staff will shout at you and can stop the pump.

pro tip, jamb your gascap under the trigger. we have "hands free" pumps here in NZ, i usually take a photo of the pump so i can work out milage on my bikes and havnt exploded yet

That drone footage showed the cattle guard 2:13 and I thought there was a gate there that you were talking about that you couldn't go through, and it turns out it was the closest way in. Another good use for the drone to explore an area for other potential routes. Ugh! Oh well just another adventure too. She was happy. Lizzy always falls asleep on those long hauls, and she looks so peaceful when she is getting her beauty sleep. That last one looked concerning but you got 'em out anyway, made it look simple.

Damn those dune looks treacherous at night. I remember that Grand Tour episode where they continued driving through the night and ended up barreling down a 80 foot dune unexpectedly. They did some crazy stuff on that show.
