Had a 2006 Pre-runner V6 Auto Access Cab.. Owned the truck for over 10 years. No engine problems. No Transmission Problems -A very reliable Truck. I sold it with 138,000 miles on it.
I love my 2024 Toyota TRD OR. My first Toyota ever and I think it has a great Price/Value when compared to other comparable mid size Trucks... I swear, all these negative comments are written by Ford Salepeople who have way to much time on their hands
for only $56,349 this 4 cylinder that only gets 20 mpg and a cardboard grill can be yours. Plus if you have children under 6, they can actually fit in the back seats.
@@Tungstenisw no hate here, to each his own, my brother owns a Ram, so I don't expect everyone to use logic and reason, but hey, enjoy that 4cyl $60,000 taco.
@@TungsteniswYour ignorance is why Toyota gets away with their ridiculous price tags and junk that they offer on their entire new line up! And the back seats barely fit anyone!
@@Tungstenisw I have zero intention to be in this junk! As I said this trucks are meant for people like you and rich RU-vidrs who get their share of benefits from Toyota! $65k for a pro? Have you all lost your minds?
So an infomercial for the new 2024 Tacoma. I suppose Toyota needs to market these trucks harder everywhere since so many are still not selling at the ridiculous price with untested redesigns.
Have 2023 Tacoma SR5 . Keeping it simple 2 wheel drive No turbo 4 cylinder. Not racing anyone not pulling a horse trailer and i get to where im going with a smile . No issues. Paid $34 thousand out the door with 18 thousand miles on it.
Gen I and some Gen II had the frame rust. I have a 2015 (Gen II) and Toyota warranted the frame for 12 years. Some Gen Is with 3.4 V6 had head gasket problems. I think the 1GRE-FE (4.0) even had some head gasket failures but pretty rare. My 2015 is supremely reliable, I do all the maintenance myself. FYI the 2024 Tacoma is assembled entirely in Mexico. Most gen III and II were made in Texas with the beds assembled in Mex and Gen I made in California.
I had a '19. That V6 was reliable but absolute trash. Literally a Camry engine they shoved into a truck. Zero low end torque, no power unless you revved the hell out of it, and the fuel economy was worse than a full sized truck. Couldn't pull my 3200lb camper up a modest hill at highway speeds. What good is a reliable truck if it can't do things you buy a truck for?
I live near the North Wind River Range in Wyoming. I Had a Taco and it sucked at elevation. Had zero power. I have a Ranger turbo now and it is SO much better. At elevation it doesn't turn to trash and has so much low end torque. I am 70K miles in zero issues. Never ever would I go back to a NA. No damn way.
What you trying to say is look! Previous gen taco had many problems. New one is better~ haha you trying to dilute new gen problems. Taco fan boys are not dumb as you think.
If I'm gonna buy a Tacoma truck, I'm going off roading, just mall crawl, I need 4 wheel drive since I live in NYC, as of now I do not have a vehicle I will purchase a 2024 Tacome truck.
You're just trying to make Tacoma look bad! You just mention that the Toyota is the most reliable Truck and yet maligning . 'Can't believe it! Fan boy here.
