They tried their hand on pure manufacturing but indians being indians didn't prefer most of their vehicles only the fortuner being the fav. Corolla deemed very expensive I think this is their way of increasing sales number and presence In future they will launch their next gen futuristic hybrid and Hydrogen engines they need this rolling presence Im nt defending them but we indians r very tricky customers
Infact no foreign car manufacturers are taking India seriously. Citroen, VW, Honda etc. Instead of bringing proper flagship models, they just create abominations for Indian market. It's really hurts man. 😢😢😢
Go ask our government..it's an elaborate scam to tax carbuyers and their is no incentive for Companies to invest in new cars and innovation. Just remember 30% goes to govt for doing nothing.. sirf make in India aur other bakwas Mike pe boldete hai bas...
Price is higher thank fronx and if you spend some extra money you can get extended warranty and also remember maruti also providing discount on it some variant in fronx.
This is what happens when brand loyalty goes too far. Toyota know they can just rebadge Suzukis, charge extra, and millions of ignorant people will buy them up because of the badge.
@@pranay220 exactly, 25k for a better looking car and better service is not a big deal. Especially if someone else in your circle already bought the fronx and you don't want to have the same car this is a great compromise to make.
As a middle class family...want to have rebage of all maruti hatchback cars in Toyota Logo...Alto, Spresso, wagon, celerio, ignis and swift are still waiting for this
@@sa34w Man, that’s actually true. After having seen so many Suzuki passengers become one with the machine after another car hits theirs, I think Tata really are the better options since they never let you be on the road.
I am also a Nexon owner and I only do servicing once a year. To your knowledge @sa34w this service center sick vehicle as per you have saved my family in a big accident.
Is Toyota doing that Honda thing... Where every bike is CB xyz... Wherein CB stands for City Bike... Eventually Toyota will abbreviate the name and start naming like-Toyota UC xyz
@@debasisghadai3633that Maruti image of cheapness has completely destroyed the image of Toyota. In future Toyota will have a problem with their image😢
The interior design does not at all comply with the exterior design. The exterior looks great but the interior is very messy and hard to look at in my opinion.
@@kostinarain7373 tf are you talkin' about?! Corolla belonged to a dying segment. That segment has completely vanished. Elantra gone, Octavia gone(though, it is coming back), Jetta gone. People prefer crossovers. And Prado. Right. Everybody has the capacity in India to buy a +1cr vehicle. Right?
@peanutbutterjelly1368 it was introduced at 60,nobody bought it then either....so,which Toyota do you want in India? You think they have 10-15lac cars in their international line up?
@@diysaiThe boot is small coz of the coupe design rather than the conventional box shape. 308 litre is good enough for a buffed hatchback, it isn't an suv.
Look like influence by typical old bollywood movies . Kya din aa Gaye dono companies par lalee lipstick laga kar thoda sa make kar ke sales kar rahe hai😂
A brand like Toyota, the brand which is known for its reliability, service and build quality, collaborating with a brand known for the cheapest build quality in the country is highly unacceptable. If this car had a collision with a Royal Enfield Bullet, I am a 100 % sure that the car would be totally destroyed from the front whereas the bullet would only have minor damage.
Toyota is fed up from Indian tax Ex 37 lakhs fortuner 20 lakhs for government of India and remaining 17 lakhs Toyota Indian people have to pay high tax
The vehicle appears to meet expectations, however, the choice of color is crucial. We recommend considering the super white color variant. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Will be interesting to see if series hybrid technology once it comes in Suzuki, comes here as well. Suzuki making Toyota's hybrid technology affordable and toyota will then sell Suzuki rebadged cars at a premium. This costing should have been otherwise just like in Hybrid Hyryder (which is cheaper than GV). Hats off to Suzuki for their brains. First AMT technology and now Series Hybrid. They know how to play with available resources and make them affordable for all.
Nope these rebadged vehicles are mainly targeted to those people who already has their mpv and suvs which are are hassle to drive on small towns and also for the convenience of sending their vehicle on the same service centre
