@@m9nu4lRJM Incorect, this supports TP-Link OneMesh, so it can definitely be set up in a mesh with several AX73 or other compatible TP-link routers. He even says so in the video.
Had bad internet with an excellent router... We recently upgraded to top fast speed fibre but received a bad router with it. Can barely step out of the house without loosing all my network. I'm definitely switching that crap with this.... 😎
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I always make it very clear when content has been sponsored, when it is a review, and/or when I've received a product for review.
Just bought this router couple days ago, and this is one of best router i've tried so far. The only thing i complained about this router is, this device doesnt have qos per ip or per device like tenda or even xiaomi. Over all, still good to use. Thanks for the video dude. 🤟
@@MrRamar-ec4bm once your in the tether app, go to your client list and click on one of your devices. There you should see a toggle for high priority. Turn that on and it should set you through the QoS setup
Out of all the routers this one has more antennas than anything I've seen. It should give you a stronger more faster connection with all of your devices (unless occasional bouncing back on a d off). Love the color you choose for it. Does it have extra features?
Hi, Ken! Thanks for watching! I think this video covers most of the features that you're getting in this router. You can always check out the affiliate link I included in the video description box to learn more!
I can't decide between ASUS TUF-AX5400 vs Tp-Link Archer AX73. The specification is very similar, but I'm interested in stability and WIFI coverage. Maybe someone can share the experience.
I have about 64 devices connected to my tplink, it seems i am running into some issues. I am still running some diags but recently my phone doesnt work well at all on my wifi and occasionally i am finding smart devices going offline
Hi! Thanks for the informative video. I have just purchased this router and have a question. I have a 200 mbps up/down plan and I am getting the speed until I am not too far from the router. But if I am 2 rooms away, my download is still strong at full 200mbps but upload reduces by about 30-50%. Can you please confirm if it's the same for you? I have checked on 3 different wifi 6 enabled devices. Thanks!
Hello BMac: I was curious if you might know anything the TP-Link AX4400? I was in the market for a new router, and picked up the AX4400, and it looks almost identical to this router, and has identical specs with the exception of the overall speed, and the lights are in a slightly different spot, and the design is slightly different when it comes to the textured design. I picked my router up through the Office Depot near me. I was just curious if it was the same router sold under different marketing specs, or if it's a newer model? I haven't been able to find a lot of info on it. Either way, it's been a really solid router. I had it set up in about 10 minutes and it's just worked since.
Hey, Clinton! Thanks for stopping by. I really wish I could give you some info on the AX4400, but I haven't personally tried it out and wouldn't be able to provide you with anything more than what the stats/specs are. I'll see what I can do about reviewing more routers in the future!
@@itstheBMAC Not a problem. I did some checking around after I posted the question, and It looks to be almost identical to the 5400 but a different speed. People have also said it's a better value than the 5400 too. I paid $140 for mine, people on Reddit have gotten it from Walmart and other places for about $129. Since my apartment is only 877 sq ft, I find this is a good bang for the buck. Not too basic, but not overkill either. I also like that fact that it can theoretically host 224 devices between the 2 and 5G bands. TP-Link says 96 clients for the 2.4 band and 128 for the 5G. Currently I have about 33 regular devices in use (most of are smart bulbs.)
Can i connect two tp-link n300 (which i already have and using them as range extenders) with this router to increase my wifi range? And can anyone please tell me this AX73’s 2.4ghz bands speed? I heard some people saying its 2.4ghz speeds are very slow. Please help im new to all this 😅
I'm having problems with this router where the 5ghz network disconnects and does not appear on certain devices while working perfectly fine on others. Have you experienced something like this? Do you know how I may be able to fix this issue?
Hey, I just bought this device and it says on the back the model is Archer AX73(EU) Ver:1.0. Do you know if there is a newer version of this router? I would not want to miss out on some functionality due to ordering an older version of the device in case a newer one has been released.
@@itstheBMAC That makes sense 🙂. Thank you. I take it back. Would you by any chance get some time to review it in terms of testing it’s features that tp link claims? More like the speed test in all the frequencies, Range test, QOS features etc. I had purchased archer ax90 router a month ago. I have a plan of 100MBPS. The signal was so weak that I was not able to connect my phone to it just 15 feet away in a closed room. Yes there are 2 concrete walls in between but do you think it is expected ? Should I have changed the directions of the antennas to point those towards the wall for better coverage ? The other issue I started seeing was after a few weeks. Every time I needed to reboot the router to retain the original speed then the speed kept getting reduced slowly and eventually after a few hours the speed was in KBPS. I then needed to reboot the router again. I am not sure if I got a defective product or it was something else. I had to return the router. But now when I am searching for a new router again, I don’t find any better options (considering my budget). Would appreciate any suggestions.
WiFi 6: Great to get future proofing. BUT... your other devices need to be able to be compatible. I now have an iPhone 12pm so that's the only device which can use it. TVs etc etc etc don't have it and I have no intention of ditching them because of a new WiFi mode!
@@itstheBMAC Yes WiFi 6 is great if you've got devices to use it! Without that is not really any use above WiFi5. Yes I have a WiFi 6 router after one of the cats peed on the old one!
You don't get 5400 mbps on one device. Not even close. That stat is total wireless bandwidth across multiple devices including both 2.4 and 5ghz where a single device on 5G can use up to about 1000mbps.
When did I ever say you get 5400 Mbps on one device? NeverI never made such a claim. The point is the overall bandwidth capabilities across multiple channels.
@@itstheBMAC so what is it? Unboxing? Might as well have typed it 's an ad for TP-Link. Not a hater, I don't know you, I'm actually planning to buy this router, but if this is not a review, it's not unboxing, then it's an ad. Might have mentioned that :-)
Tested this now for 6 months, owning C2, C6, AX73 and a bunch of other routers. - The WIFI strength is way less then a TP-link C2 (relic), after one wall and 10meters it gets disconnected - No possibility of Open-wrt install due to the chipset used - At this price range you can get better products Disappointed
Just appreciate his time and effort on creating this content for us to see/hear about the sponsored product. Aint need to be so negative lambasting ppl with a negative opening comment. Perhaps a more subtle and constructive comment like ‘How about sharing the test on router signal’ for an example.. that way, u could have the chance to see the test on router signal and he has another content to push out.
