It'll probably turn into a Cat 11 and 17 before speeding its way right into the very center of Houston and then tearing the world in half. No doubt. I'm a weather weanie.
Beryl is looking eerily similar to the path that Hurricane Harvey took in 2017. I just have a bad feeling that this storm is going to rapidly restrengthen in the gulf and cause some damage.
Infuriating! It will leave the Yucatan as a Cat 1 and continue to strengthen with the cone of uncertainty moving toward Houston! The fact that the seriousness of the situation isn't being mentioned leaves millions of people unprepared and is negligent of the Houston weather team! Such disregard for the people of Houston and Healthcare workers is truly a disservice!
