Traffic Control Device Analysis, Testing and Evaluation Program 0-7096 

Highway safety is a critical topic as the population continues to grow statewide. The need for providing low-cost, federally required solutions is also a top concern. Traffic control devices, or TCDs, serve as an efficient way to communicate vital highway information to drivers.
The Texas Department of Transportation and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute are researching tools to evaluate high priority issues related to TCDs, optimizing customer demand and addressing state and national policy changes.
