This is the best Mountain Bike trail I have ridden in Pemberton so far! So much fun riding down that fast trail yesterday as you can tell!
I know... The name of the trail is not the best but the story says that the builder was a police officer and he injured himself while riding it. Its own idea apparently.
To lead me down Upper Cop Killer, a part of McKenzie Cruise and Lower Cop Killer, Kirk Mc Dowall , a very talented World Cup Racer. He has been two times national Champion of Downhill in Canada, got 15th at World Championship this year and also scored a couple of podiums at Crankworx. Not bad!

This and Sourkraut are my faves, keep up the awesome work dude, cool to hear your narration and how stoked you are while riding... also cool you feature top Canadian racers like Kirk and Seth Sherlock, great to give them exposure they deserve and showcase their riding.

That was a blast to watch. Thats the trail that made me move to Pemby in 1999. There was a small write up in bike mag about that trail in the late 90's.

RollinRat no skiing in winter but there is snow on the ground. That descent is around 8 minutes I think.

which brakepads are you running and do you have any problem with the bitepint and the way the lever can travel until the pads are touching the rotors during a big ride?

judoka orange no I run metallic pads. No issue with the lever. It's super consistent.

Was Kirk riding that blind, or was that something he's ridden before?

No, we both did a warm up lap. To be honest, when we ride blind we don't go much slower. We do one lap, just to make sure we don't mess up at an intersection or if there is something dangerous we look at it first (The gap on the rock face: I can ride that blind no problem, but I will not jump it blind). Same for the next video. One is dropping tomorrow, and we did a lap together before.
