Only a small number of these have changed dialogue in the Garden afterwards... but I wanted to make sure I got them all, so I hate to beat Cassius 6 times for this. Hope it was worth it.

I was always planning on doing this, and in a week where I didn't feel up to doing commentary videos I thought "might as well." It was going to be a bonus video after the series was over but I could easily forget about that. Here's the other thing: Schwarzritter is coming up, and I think he has unique dialogue with everyone too. But his is going to be much harder to capture since: -The unique dialogue only comes AFTER the fight. -He's accompanied by a big enemy with a lot of HP. -He's much more defensive/stall-focused than Cassius, despite being arguably a lot easier. So I MIGHT cover his one day, but don't expect it too soon.
@@BigKlingy So I had a look at Trails in the Database to confirm. According to it, not-Loewe has unique post-fight dialogue with a few party members, but not everyone. I find that a little strange, considering that he did back in Sky SC. I'm not sure if it would be worth checking anyway just in case?
All of these conversations, specially the moment where Renne refers to Cassius as a "Monster" makes me really appreciate how our favorite S-Rank Bracer is a pretty modest and chill guy despite being basically a god in human form. As most of these OP characters tend to be extemely arrogant and see everyone else as beneath them. One of the biggest examples I can think of is Beerus from Dragon Ball Super. Would love to see the cat destroyer god be beaten in a fight by a man that, may be a god in terms of power. But its still technically a normal human man. Lena did NOT deserve to be forced to part ways from this wonderful one-of-a-kind man! (Also, the Silver Will remix here is almost on par with the Bifrost/Zephyr Cradle one!)
Agreed, I love how chill and... basically "dad" Cassius is all the time, despite being a candidate for strongest character in the setting. Even Renne, a super-genius who was experimented on to heighten her powers further, couldn't get a read on him.
@@BigKlingy I guess in a way, Cassius is what happens when you take the main idea of Saitama from One Punch Man... (That being, an OP hero played for comedy.) But replace his apathy and boredom, with basically being a Sitcom dad. As another user described.
At first I was kinda surprised that Cassius has unique dialogue with this many people but thinking about it he either knows or has some kind of connection with almost everybody, Estelle is his Daughter, Joshua is his adopted son/future son in law, Scherazard is his protege on the Bracer side of things, he’s the reason Agate is a Bracer, Richard was his protege in the Military, he and Anelace use the same Sword style and trained under the same master and that’s just a few, you could argue that only Ries and Renne either haven’t met him or were close to somebody who has. It would be a bit of an undertaking to do this kind of design for even every story relevant boss since even if it’s quite basic you have to think off something that the character would have to say regardless of how interesting or involved it is, and it’s going to be easier for some character than others, even if it’s something like revealing a backstory detail of a character like Fire Emblem Fates with Saizo vs Kotaro, it would be cool but something that can be hard to write. I know I did try it once with an equilaint of Fire Emblem Awakening, Fates and Echoes style Final Chapter and it became harder over time to find interesting and character relevant ways for the cast to call out the final boss.
4:45 At the end of the day, the best part about Cassius Bright is that he is the father of Estelle, a.k.a Bestelle. Poor Josette, not even Cassius was expecting to see her, even though she was playable in the previous game. I was gonna make a joke that Cassius talked to person who was on the right most of the time, but when that person was Josette, he started with the one on the left, but he did that to other combinations, so that wouldn't work. (To be fair, he would talk to Kloe first over other characters, except probably Estelle and Joshua)
Hope you're in a better head space now, man! In the meantime, I managed to get to the finale of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward's base game (in fact, I'm watching the credits as I'm writing this). The game managed to get its hooks in me to the point that I'll actually be buying the full game. And yes, the story of Heavensward so far (so excluding the transitionary quests) is as good as people meme it is.
Some of these offhand special boss conversations end up being foreshadowing too. E.g Rufina is first mentioned if you bring Kevin to Loewe's fight in SC.
Was it worth beating Cassius 7 times for? Eh, probably. I almost stopped doing the fight, since everyone after Agate had no changes in the Garden... and then Mueller actually DID, so I'm glad I didn't stop.
Before anything else, nice seeing you again Klingy. Hope you're doing well now. 0:42- Really interesting remix of Silver Will. I think I prefer the Super Arranged version, but this one is great too. 1:05- Nice seeing Agate's conversation. He and Schera were probably the ones I'll regret skipping out on the most when I play this game given how important Cassius is to them as well. Now I wished we got to use more party members than the standard four for the Cassius fight. 1:50- Also some really cool insight on Ruffina as well. 3:55- Also this part of the song is amazing. 4:31- Can't tell if that's Cassius is trying to throw her off with rubbish or is actually explaining something important, but it's still quite something not even Renne can get a read on him. 5:30- Even the game questions your decision making skills by bring Josette. She will never catch a break, will she? 7:33- Kind of hope we got a deeper conversation like what Agate got, but still nice seeing Schera casually talk to Cassius. 8:00- And more foreshadowing for Cold Steel. Despite some negatives I've heard on those games, it will be really interesting when I finally see and play those games myself and see how much that was here in Sky's set up pays off there. 8:35- I do wonder how many characters Cassius has mentored at some point. Overall, that was great just seeing all of these conversations they had Cassius gave to each party member. Always such a wonderful detail when games respond to which party members when you bring to certain sections. I know Trails does that a lot, but the Cassius stuff is still great since he even gives characters with the least amount of attachments to him something special to say. Many thanks Klingy for getting all of these! Seriously, can't thank enough those who go out of their way to show off these types of details. As someone who kind of fear only ever being able to do one playthrough of most games I play, it's great having people who can find the stuff I missed/overlooked. In other news, since last time, I've beaten Triangle Strategy. To give the least spoiler-ish way of saying it, it's was an overall great game and probably one of the best SRPGs I've played in a long time as well as probably being one of the best games I've played in general in a long time too. Gameplay is frikin amazing, love how unique every character is while also being mostly viable (even "subpar" characters still have their uses and can offer a good amount), maps are greats, the story while text heavy at certain points, was really good (at least for the ending I got), really liked our playable cast character-wise as well. Overall, it was a fantastic game and it gladdens me to see it do well (recently hit around 800K sales world wide within two weeks after being released). I will be replaying it a good bit, but not sure how many playthroughs I'll be able to do, but I hope to do a good amount. Next up is I'll probably doing the Kirby Demo and probably place a preorder in soon.
I like this version a lot actually. I found Ries' the most interesting but it was great to see Anelace's too. I did find it cool that Cassius said that to Renne since he also wants Renne to live a better life like Estelle and Joshua. Josette might be the character with the loosest connection to Cassius too. Gallade has been chatting to me about a lot of Cold Steel and it is making me interested in the series too. Great to see all of these in one place so thanks to Klingy for that. Great to hear that you really enjoyed Triangle Strategy and it will be great to hear more of what you think about it in the future too. I do need to check out that Kirby demo too. As for me, it has been very stressful because I got my laptop repaired since one of the hinges completely broke and it is back but it randomly cut out while I was using and I don't know why. It could be related to the battery which would mean that might need replacing too. We have to see if it randomly cuts out again first. On the plus side, my brother beat the main story of Legends: Arceus and I beat the Valm arc in Awakening as well as recruited a lot of the child units.
@@BerserkerRohan That is a really nice thing about that talk as well since Cassius also wants to help out Renne too. He already helped one former child assassin, he can probably do it again. I sometimes look at his stuff too if it isn't spoiler-heavy, which has helped in my interest on Cold Steel as well. Like I said before, I'll be happy to help answer any question you may have on Triangle Strategy. However, due to some events in my life, I might not be as talkative for several days (assuming I even comment), so if you asked a question or multiple ones I didn't get to, once I'm in a better mind set, I'll just grab all unanswered questions and just answer them all when I'm able to. I don't really have any questions at the moment but I should mention that I decided to wait on getting GT7 so I could get Triangle Strategy instead but I am still keeping my options open. I do hope that I can resolve this laptop business.
Well, this isn't main part so no story in this. But speaking about it, because you have nearly caught up to me, it forced me to actually play a lot of the game. I might even finish it. 2:18 Wow, she was that famous? 4:22 Geez, Cassius is so powerful he forced Renne to make that face. 5:08 Cassius is so brave he didn't even offer that against Tita. Meaning he doesn't worry about Erika's wrath.
There were some pretty interesting conversations like the one with Ries so it is cool to see them all in one place and doing all of those fights with Cassius was definitely worth it. As for me, my laptop needed repairing but I did get it back just now and I hope I can start using it again soon for my Let's Play. I also made a lot of progress in Awakening by finishing the Valm arc as well as recruiting a lot of the child units too.

Out of any conversations to Cassius Bright directed personally in separate ways by certain Party Members: 1st Ries with Kevin he talks about... Rufina... 😔 I see... Even he heard of her even not in person he says... 2nd Joshua & Estelle he knows when they're well enough & simple... 3rd Renne he gets to see her & even she has doubts, always himself isn't he? Lol. Still, it was nice. (No joke she knows how monstrously strong he is.) 4th Schera he didn't recognized about her appearance & her haircut. Well she's a grown lady now & seems matured to come from a long way. 5th Prince Olivert... Ah his highness never changes he knows not to want him in a... U know. Lol. "Odd.
