I'm BigKlingy, resident Armourknight-Tactician and I'll be posting videos of various games. I mainly specialise in the informative style of commentated playthroughs, so I hope to prove interesting in that regard.

Seems pretty much all Myrmidons and Swordsmasters you can recruit come with some variation of the Killing Edge (Shamsir, Wo Dao, etc.) Even <Censored> in the CC comes with a Shamshir.
I wish I still had the old hack my buddy made of this. He made a Star Trek version. The 'Grado' army were Romulans or Cardassians (it changed based on where in the story you were) wile the Fiends were the Borg. If you chose Eieria's Route your captain was Janeway. Ephraim's Route was Captain Picard... the only problem was Fomortiis. My buddy made him 'Q.'
@@BigKlingy Yeah Swords became Phasers and that sort of thing. It took him a very long time (we're talking like 2-3 years to complete the whole thing) but it was worth it. Wish I could get it again.
Tiki vs Deadlord: "I...know you. That grisly guise you wear is not enough to blind me. You died to protect something. Will you now destroy it? Then I know I will stop you-to honour your last wish and defend the children." So it's not really implied to be Marth. More likely someone from the first gen of this game.
24:45 Actually, from what I read, in fe1 it only affects the possibility of points in a level up, that is, if Marth has a level up of strength, the mercurius makes it possible for him to obtain 2 points instead of 1
Umm about Saleh making back to Caer Pelyn so quickly...maybe he did the thing the Riev often does and just randomly teleport. It seems that enemy NPCs and sometimes Random Green units can do that. Sadly we need either Warp/Rescue Staves (or I think the Ability Warp in later games) in order to do so but here Saleh IS a green unit after all. When he joins he has a lot of stupid people with him so they dumb him down out of being able to do that (that's my explanation for it anyway.) Also I agree with opposite sex platonic pairings adding some 'oomph' to the games. One I actually quite like is Cormag/Tana.
My first pokemon game was moon... at age eleven or so... I would have played x earlier if I could have, but I never got the chance to play it until AFTER most kids would have learned that status moves are very useful. Sometimes I wonder what that would have been like...
0:49 Now that you mentioned what the Japanese version of Donnel and Olivia's support said, this leaves me confused and I'm curious what it says in Japanese, because if Nesala's story is known as a legend, it leaves me confused that they say he is from another world, in like, as if Ike was from another universe
Since you asked us to share what we do with Naoto, I'd like to start by saying she was vital to my personal A-team solely because of her sheer versatility. If I remember correctly, my build with her consisted of Tempest Slash, Agidyne, Garudyne, Mudoon, Hamaon, Megidola, Vorpal Blade, and Invigorate 3, and I would've swapped out the physical skills for Bufudyne and Ziodyne if I'd known I could at the time--once again playing into her versatility.
22:23 My argument to this overall, as I’m talking about Chrom and Robin right now in Engage, Robin sacrificing themselves actually brings parallels back to Emmeryn’s sacrifice. I have thought about this a little more, and Robin’s sacrifice and revival also symbolizes everything Awakening represents: bonds far surpassing destiny. Yes, it hurts to see everyone’s reactions, to Robin’s death, but I guess, part of the reason why I prefer Robin’s sacrifice ending more is partly because of Engage’s ending. It made more sense for Alear’s character because he has to continue the legacy of Lumera and their Emblems. The Emblems show signs of returning in the ending (some of which have in Heroes, as of this comment: Marth, Ike and Celica). Back on topic: I do agree that Chrom sealing Grima is the happier ending, IMO, the sealing the enemy instead of killing then is so cliche and annoying because the villains always managed to return eventually (I get why with Grima, but still). Why compared Robin’s death to Emmeryn’s is because there are people important to Chrom to become as kind as her sister. Robin is the one to remind Chrom that he can be himself, not force himself to be someone he isn’t. Chrom’s character shines through in the fact that he supports his daughter and best friend through their dark times. Robin sacrificing themselves is a choice that Robin makes for themselves, and Robin comes back (again) through the power of friendship. The light at the end of the tunnel is what Chrom always fights for, he just needs to go through trial to see that Robin will return. And I’m the end, they did. Neither ending is wrong, but this is just what I believe with everything the story preaches.
On my most recent run one of this map, a priest put a shine barrier in the singular spot on a bridge that didn't have a pitfall, so never in my life was I more glad that Sigrun and Tanith were force deployed, rescue dropping with them made it take less than an eternity
