This beast of an electric locomotive known as the General Electric 'E60' released in 2022 for Train Simulator Classic by developer 'Reppo' and was warmly welcomed. As with most (as nothing is truly perfect) addons, there were some flaws - namely in the sound department. Woody of Searchlight Simulations threw together some upgrades for this beast as an enhancement for the community to enjoy.

Dude these sounds bring back memories. I was young when the E60s were retire but I still remember them, the sounds, horn it all sounds like the real deal. Just for future the Averter will go off every 15 seconds if you don't move the throttle, brakes etc in real life. I am very happy Woody did this.

When I was in high school 20+ years ago, I would often ride the Raritan Valley Line with my dad to Newark, then we'd part ways...he'd wait for a train to Penn Station (NY) and I would take the PATH because it got me closer to where I was going. At the same time we'd split up, an E60 with a motley collection of heritage coaches and Amfleets would show up, running a Clocker service from Philly to New York. This sounds exactly like my memories of those well-worn E60s.

Transformer oil pump. Very important for cooling the main transformer in real life

Where are the E60 upgrades i have installed all of them but not the new sounds for locomotive and horn/bell as well. I don't have of what you have

What do you think of TSW 3 is it worth my time? Never tried it but wanted to because of Cajon Pass! I play Run 8 all the time because I like really physics and realism

Stick to run 8. TSW is just the unreal engine rehashing of Railworks at this point.

@@JohnsonMcJohnson Coming from maybe someone who has no understanding of how to get a real train moving or how to operate real life trains then yeah I guess! Run 8 is the best simulator out there in terms of proper train handling and real life physics! I ran several trains at NS and after trying them all no other sim out there like it!
