I'm not even in the Mil or ever will be and just listening to Chuck really opened my mind but to my LE job. I have hidden a lot of injuries to avoid the appearance of weak or soft and one of them is a painful hand injury. No more!
I remember we always took pride in who had the thinnest med record, and laughed at dudes who had multiple volumes. Looking back, group didnt help us ouy long term. I preach the same thing now, it isnt about pride, its responsibility for you and yout family.
Hey Chuck! Such a great video. I was an aviation guy before becoming a Corpsman and you hit the nail on the head with this video. After shooting the shit with numerous Specops guys through the years the one thing that continues to come up is would we do anything differently? The answer is an unequivocally no, across the board. The only thing that everyone says is we wish we would have made sure that it was documented in our med records. So many Vets (such as myself) have a horrendous fight on their hands because of lack of documentation. Thank you for this video. Doc Hewett
I was laughing at myself for that one and almost put a blurb in there about touching your face. Good news is my levels are acceptable and I also don't really care if I die, so I'm good either way. lol
