Watched the ENTIRE VLOG with a massive smile on my face! Especially knowing that the way you reflect on the training sessions by making your notes is exactly what my role model turned Teacher/friend also advised me a couple months ago makes it all so much better. I love that you get to work with your role models while you happen to be our role model as well, in and out of the tatami! Hope we get to train like this some day man :)) My katas are exactly the same way as you described, wherein it's all muscle to make it look more powerful rather than being a fine balance of power, balance, speed and grace. Really hope I can work and improve on it.
Very happy to hear your say this! It’s great to know. I’m happy your teacher advised you of this. Please keep training hard and enjoying your karate. May the karate journey bring us together one day. Oss
Wow, just amazing! 🤩 I enjoyed watching from the beginning to the end. From my own experience, it's much easier to grasp more details when the teacher and you speak the same language. Please keep up the great vlog series! ;)
Thank you so much for this Vlog Ariel, it was so AMAZIIINNGGGG 😊 I practice Shotokan style, but I started to do the same thing like you (record training videos, taking notes) that helps a lot to get improvements every day I hope you're doing well and I hope to meet you very soon Regards bro 🥋💥💪
You know, i always feel shy about taking notes of what i learn, i thought it was silly, bit knowing you write it down, I'm definitely doing it right away 🎉❤
That’s great to hear. Taking notes is important. Especially for yourself. This is always just about what will make you happy and will help you move forward.
@@arielkarate1 My son and I always watch your videos to continue learning kata after the dojo. Keep up the good work bro, you inspire a lot of other people. Regards
Great to see that. Just like Yoshimi Inoue Sensei told me: "when your muscles are worn out after long hours of training, that's when the technique sinks in." RELAX AND SMILE!
"there's no gi, how hard could it be." if only they knew... 😭 congrats to both you and grace at the last K1 was so proud of you both and was so damn impressive!! (chairs were jumped out of and the phone was broken.. oops💀) ONLY UP FROM HERE !!! OSS!!!
Hahahahaha !! Exactly !! Thank you so much I appreciate it. We are happy and working hard to keep improving. We appreciate your kind energy. Hope you get that phone fixed hahaa
Love you man and a wonderful vlog!!!! I was wondering though, I have tried journaling for my trainings but did not know how to act on the insights I got, do you have any tips? Also do you have any tips on reviewing competition videos? Keep up the good work man, much love from greece!!!!
Hello !! Thank you for the love and great energy. My advice is first to start writing down what you did, what you felt and if you figured out anything special that helps you physically on mentally. As for video review that’s a great idea. I might make a video about how I review. Thank you
You were cooking up the chicken? Definitely looked like Grace 😂 but that kitchen looked great. Documenting what you did different is a great idea as you recover or improve. Can help determine if the changes helped or deterred improvement. Wet and sweaty gi is the worst.
lol !!! 😂 yes the chicken I cooked but when I was recording I told her to take care of it. But the beef she did every time 😆🤣 And yess sir !! It’s been great bro. I’m glad I have all these videos to look back on 🎉
