Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Nottingham on the Midland Main Line where services are seen by East Midlands Trains, CrossCountry and Northern.
Nottingham has a lovely building as you come into the station on the train, effectively welcoming you into this glorious station. The architecture is lovely and the layout is greatly put out. The trains were fantastic and varied with lovely sunny weather surrounding them, the views towards Grantham were fantastic and the tunnel view towards Beeston was a nice touch. It was great to see the freight coming through here as well as well as the departing HST, that was a fantastic film. This station is amazing, one of my favourites in the East Midlands.
