Freight and passenger train movements at lunchtime on a winter Saturday in February 1991. Class 20s were still being used on MGR trains to Fiddlers Ferry PS at this time, and Class 90s were in charge of WCML passenger services.
The second section is a return visit to Warrington Bank Quay station on 23rd July 1991.
This visit includes double Class 86s on a Post Office train, double Class 37s on a timber freight and a Class 47 on block oil. The final set of clips are of 3 light engine movements at Helsby Junction on the same day.
The next trip to Warrington was later in the same week on the 26th July.
Stayed for a while longer at this visit and managed to capture varied activity including:
Class 86s on freight and passenger trains,
Class 20s on MGRs to Fiddlers Ferry,
and the usual Class 47s on mixed and block trains.
