More trains from the Tehachapi Depot Museum. I know I shoot a lot from there, but with so many trains passing while I'm volunteering there, how can I not shoot some of them?

Great captures Mark, I like you are not afraid to show the people enjoying the trains. After all, that's what it is all about! (Dave).

Enjoy watching trainsfrom Tehachapi depot. I did alot of train watching while attending Bakersfield High School 1968-1972. Santa Fe Railroad main line and yard were next to the school. A nice distraction. That still photo at the end, looks like Sierra Railroad in Jamestown, Ca. It's about 35 miles east of where I live. Bill formally from Bakersfield

The photo at the end is from Roaring Camp and Big Trees RR at Felton, Ca., near Santa Cruz. If you ever get the chance to go there, I highly recommend it! Here is the link to a playlist with all the cool tourist trains I've visited. Thanks for checking it out! ru-vid.com/group/PL6ge3RoxmyvpcPI5y8k22EsYOyib-d0ny

@MarkClayMcGowan My wife and I have been there. Loved it. If you get a chance, check out Railtown 1897 in Jamestown, Ca. Called the movie RR. It's a part of the California State Railroad Museum. It's on the Sierra Railroad a still working short line from Riverbank to Sonora.

Hey Mark another great video, thank you for want you do. I been watching your channel while you were still at UP. Is there any chance you can turn the camera just a hair so we can see the recording marks? Thanks Scott W

Topic for consideration: High Speed Rail through the valley, maybe Bako to Hanford, your thoughts?

Pony up the dollars, my friend. A quick check suggests about a 1 hr. and 50 min trip (+/-) by highway. I'm sure one could beat that by an HSR train. With all due respect, the reason nobody plunks down the cash to do this stuff (viz. a viz Elan or Jamie) is negative return on investment. What a convenient alternative for grabbing a tube of toothpaste at a shop nearby.

I may do something on that this year, but gas just jumped back to $5.00 a gallon here in Ca., so unless I can get more support, I will be staying closer to home. Thanks for the suggestion, and for checking it out!

@@MarkClayMcGowan No worries, I am a local resident of the valley, so I see it every day. Just thought it may be something a larger audience from out of state may want to see progress and thusly grow your channel with a continuing topic. I certainly understand about spending the $$$ with the rising gas prices. Really apricate the content that you are producing.

Hey Mark; thanks for the email. Recording marks, are the road name and car number. I love your videos, I’m a model railroader from the east coast, so I watch your videos for a reference. Thanks again.

I'll try to remember that. Did you see my video about cabin and case dimensions, or the one about car information?
