@@suzyq2606 it depends on how much stuff you're transferring. Jimmy is Promo has a new Smart Switch-phone transfer video out, either yesterday or today (Aug 24/25) that I saw a few hrs ago. It seems that using a cable between new and old devices is a little faster. NOTE : what he sez about which device to plug cable into 1st. Also make sure you have any important passwords /log-Ins saved somewhere other then on phone you're getting rid of because despite apps transferring, every thing had to be set-up all over again, ie: like any banking, credit card apps (but those were things I don't save in the app or on device for security) Good luck

it looks like he has a sim card in each phone. Otherwise, how could the old phone download the QR scanner. I have a QR scanner, but it wants to open a link on the old phone.

The s23+ does not use a physical sim. It uses an eSim, so you do not need to transfer your old physical sim

TAN_ Bro, First Of All, It would Transfer all the Contacts from the Phone, and you need to enter the SIM card to New Phone If you want the SIM Contacts. Secondly, It should transfer all the compatible apps, so it should transfer all your Note, but to be sure you can transfer your notes to Google Keep for transferring them. Lastly, It should transfer your WhatsApp along with Media files.😊

You gotta put the sim into new then all should be there

Your notes, your calendars would be synced with your samsung account, so once you log in to your new samsung phone, they should all be there. Make sure you sync your old samsung phone first with your samsung account. Your contacts is usually done via Gmail now. Sim contacts rarely exist unless they are old phones. Once you sign into Gmail, they will all re appear automatically.

@@Fix.369 I stopped at 0:58 because I saw the part about delete all, all data will be erased. I thought the transfer should be completed first before that part in case transfer gets interrupted or something. I will do a backup first and try again. Will update.

He just did the factory reset to show what you would have to do transfer data to a brand new phone. Normally when you buy a new S23 ultra, it will already be empty@@marv0201
