For example, you meet a new client who reminds you of a former lover.
Countertransference is responding to them with all the thoughts and feelings attached to that past relationship.

What if you have a bad transference with your supervisor?

What is it called if a client is trying to "copy" the therapist, like trying a hairstyle as them and then explicitly saying they did it because they like their therapist doing it? Is there some way to address it?
