Transformers Shattered Glass Commander Class JETFIRE Review 

Something you may have not known about jetfire is that you can takeoff the gun piece to the forearm guns and you can just use them as a shield

This mold was sick!!!!!! Probably the best figure in siege and this repaint/shattered glass version looks just fantastic!! Absolutely well done review PvP!!

Honestly this character deserves the masterpiece quality. He was easily the best character in the series and he made that impression in the very few episodes he was in!

Honestly, with how well made the siege/86 designs are, I can see them using those mold ideas for a long while, I mean siege jet fire just looks SO GOOD even in shattered glass colors

Huh, so it does turn on the SG figure. it was speculated that the piece might've been retooled to remove the allegiance change gimmick since the story for Jetfire (As far as we know) has always been a bad Autobot in the SG lore. But that might be retconned that he was maybe a former heroic Decepticon that eventually took the dark path and joined the Autobots in the current IDW SG comic.

All these shattered glass characters are really impressive I’m looking forward to actually get my hands on one of these plus I want to see a Netflix show of transformers shattered glass and I would like if the animation is based on marvels “ what if “

This figure is AMAZING!!! Shattered glass IMO is the 3rd best continuity (my first 2 favourites are g1 and beast wars/beast machines) so it’s amazing to see some official figures and recognition for it! Keep up the great work PvP!!!

Man I still remember when these were only for BotCon. Seeing Shattered Glass in the retail toy line is still trippy but as a big fan of the SG storyline I couldn’t be happier! Awesome review as always PvP!

Digging the colours. Love when a great mold gets another reuse. If only we'd get Kingdom Cyclonus redone in blue and yellow as Thunderwing. 'THAT' I would like!

I think this is an excellent recolor of that previous Jetfire mold! :D I think my only criticism of this figure really comes down to the jet mode, and that mainly has to do with the back being a bit hollow, and the other--which is slightly higher--is that I wish the backpack could lower down all the way so that the robot head is fully covered since it's still somewhat visible in alt mode (that, and I also wish that you could alternate the Autobot, and Decepticon symbols around on the separate chest-plate much like on Jetfire's chest). Other than that; LOVE this figure! Now I just gotta try to get a hold of this guy. XD

Would love to see this Jetfire done with Red where the Purple is.

It’s preordered. I’m waffling because I had decided not to get the big figures. Space. I’d personally like a Omega Supreme and Scoponok Titan but they’re really big. Shattered glass is a favorite head cannon line for me. They are whatever I want them to be. Story is important to me and SG gives me a chance to craft it. So I may get this guy. I can think of fun stories with him and Heroic Starscream. I know there are comics telling stories. I haven’t read much. It’s those mirror verse Star Trek episodes that drive my interest in SG. It is a great looking figure. It will probably make me want to hunt Jetfire down…

I am getting my copy of the figure in just under a week, I cannot wait to add him to the collection. the only pity is, not enough Decepticons and too many Autobots. I hope if a second wave is released, Hasbro will make a few more Decepticons.

It still would've been awesome to see Rodimus in this Shattered Glass line. It could easily fly as an updated version of Rodimus Unicronus.

I’ve got the siege jet fire and it’s great but this paint job just makes it super. It’s the mix of that off black Matt and purple, bad ass.

This is a very well done figure and I am sure the aftermarket prices will be pretty insane in a few yrs. The color scheme is pretty awesome. We need an OS KO of this mold for sure :) I am very happy that Hasbro gave us this version finally and I am glad its official and not a KO.

Not the biggest collector, but I'm still happy with the WFC release I picked up on sale for $44. The figure is honestly amazing xD Those blue effect parts are really nice though, they should sell those parts in a pack with a few color variants

Question for everyone: Does anyone know if this figure have the same issue with the battle helmet as the original? I'm also hoping that we get Repro/Toyhax label to change the green sections to teal for a combined mode with Nemesis.

I really like him, and I do want to get him. But he's going to have to wait until after the holidays for me. Hopefully he'll still be available at regular retail by then. Here in the US, part of his price is the inclusion of the comic book with the exclusive foil cover. But I know that you haven't gotten any of those with yours. I was sort of disappointed when he was announced, as I'd been hoping the fifth exclusive Shattered Glass figure would either be a repaint of the Wal-Mart Earthrise Soundwave and cassette tapes, or perhaps a repaint of Studio Series Hot Rod. Jetfire never got much attention in the previous Shattered Glass stories. But your review has reminded me of what an awesome toy Siege Jetfire was, and damn if that new color scheme doesn't just make the whole thing pop even more! So, great review, thank you!

I already preordered this figure, thou I own the original verison of this, I kind of jumped on this, in my mind, the shattered glass characters have pretty much crossed over from their reailty through the actions caused by the SG OP and it just adds to the chaos of the Autobot Decepticon war! Also with this figure, when I evenly have him, I'll likely keep the armour on him, unlike the original but I also have a small upgrade I bought that will finish off the Macross look, of course, if Hasbro & Takara decide to take the previous Jetfire figure and repaint that in SG colours, my head cannon would be that the Siege figure is Skyfire, while the other is Jetfire, that how it is currently for me.

The reason why the price is 10 to 20 dollars more is because they come a with fancy comic weather that's worth it or not that's why as far as I know but I'm pretty sure because I got the shattered glass blurry and he came with one and I had no clue so I was pretty happy 😅

The colours are so good on this one imo. I don't know why but I kinda like this one better than the Siege one.

I wish they would come out with something to conceal the bottom of the jet mode, the top of the jet looks awesome but the bottom is horrible!

I know in the Netflix show Jetfire had a blue laser blade. I wonder what color blade would this guy have, maybe orange? I missed out on Jetfire and I'm glad I did, since the paint on this one looks great. Maybe a new head mold would have been nice but i'll take it.

I'm so happy that this is backwards compatable. Does it tell you in the instructions about that? The cockpits? Also does that engine piece store somewhere else?

Well, I got my first ever QC issue. The left hand has a right hand’s peghole mechanism, so the peghole never comes out.

this is actually a competition between the siege and shattered glass but I think that maybe just maybe that this is just a hair better than the original

He's essentially a masterpiece To Masterpiece figures for G1 has terrible management For kibble

I think my only gripe is the blast effect, and that's only because I want Hasbro to do more purple blast effects

You forgot (or maybe it's not the case in te UK?), but the Shattered Glass do also come with the Shattered Glass comic with an exclusive variant. Not necessarily $20 worth, but it does add value.

The original face is the sky fire look. Jet fire has the mask as the toy was jet fire

When it comes to Jet Transformers I can only do Macross since they have perfect transformation with no kibble in either form with Masterpiece level quality not to mention it is from the franchise that Jetfire was inspired from due to some legal shenanigans too bad they're 300 a pop

12:40 Those two side panels near the top of the jet aren't secure at all on my copy and pop out of place with a touch. It's a tall figure but of all the commander classes I think I play with Jetfire the least.
