I really appreciate this review bc I have been trying to decide which Shockwave to get. The Siege Shockwave is actually way over-priced on the collector market but is still probably the one I will get. The “Cyber” version here is more reminiscent-looking of the original but I am liking the Siege version for what he is: a toy of the War For Cybertron: Siege show. So to say that one is not a cartoon-accurate homage to the original is a bit unfair because I think he is quite accurate to the show that this line from. Nevertheless, choices are good, and it is nice to be an adult and say, “Eh.. maybe I’ll get both.. because I can 🤓😏

Cyber Battalion Shockwave is Toy Accurate (logo on chest) SIEGE Shockwave is Cartoon accurate (logos on forearms) As for their individual colors, both can actually work, and have appeared in the cartoon it varies which episode.

Siege Shockwave in my opinion is the winner but you can also get siege shock wave to become a gun but a lot of people know this turn him into spaceship mode with no pieces and flip them upside down

I mean if you HAD to use the cyber one for stop motion and NEEDED knees you could remove the part of the leg under the knee, and use play doh to position it I guess

As much as is logically the better toy, against my better logic, there's something about the Cyber Battalion one that, if it had knees, would have been a great alternative CHUG Shockwave, with much less overpriced junk and a pretty sweet spaceship mode on his own. Yes, said junk is cool, but allow me to play devil's advocate here and ask if it is actually necessary for either mode. Now, not everyone can just mod knees for this guy, but I'd like to argue that if he only had that and MAYBE was a little less hollow, he'd be a GREAT figure, maybe even command a demand for those who aren't willing to pay extra for Siege Shockwave.

My cyber shockwave should be coming in 2 days because i ordered it today and it is coming form the same state as me. I plan on getting the upgrade that gives him a bend at the knee which is nice but it make him like leader class.

For siege shockwave’s legs you forgot to tab in the sides of the legs that’s why the legs where no straight and awkwardly stood up

I have both and like both for different reasons.

$50 siege vs $17 cyber shockwave. If they did not include all the accessories, they could have priced siege at $30.

I think the cyber would have gotten my pick it he had knee joint and should have turned that in cyberverse or earthrise for a better update

I heard from Soundwave 8084 there's a knee joint upgrade kit. Makes now want to get him. If I can get it

For someone like me that thinks scale is everything, Siege is way too short. Otherwise it'd be the definitive version
