Transformers Siege "Leader Class" Shockwave CHILL REVIEW 

The way you represented the “drone” is the best out of any reviewer that I have seen so far for this figure. The base shockwave is really nice.

I think you're right that they're probably counting the Shockdrone as a deluxe packaged with a voyager Shockwave. I think if it was more of a full figure, like Cog or Brunt people'd feel less salty about the price. It's a great looking Shockwave, but that price does seem a bit too much.

In my mind, I imagine the drone was created as a recommendation to Shockwave from Megatron himself so that he wouldn't be so underpowered in bot mode, and when not in the thick of battle is his personal Lab assistant/apprentice who sometimes has to question the LOGIC of his boss/employer.

TFP Shockwave: your argument, is logical. G1 Shockwave: Decepticons, were under attack scramble! Bee Movie Shockwave: let non escape! Bay Verse Shockwave: Optimus!

Awesome review as always! As to the price, Leader seems to be the only scale that didn't get more expensive, so we're getting 'shrinkflation' instead. Still a bitter pill, though. I snatched this guy up the other day when my local Walmart decided to restock for the first time in a month and a host of treasures emerged from the stockroom at once (sorry Ultra Magnus & Hound, priorities!), and I think price is the only substantial downside, with him being worth it overall if you're a Shockwave fan. He looks basically perfect in every mode, just a bit small in comparison. The details, the light piping in bot & ship modes, and the accessories gimmick are all flawless. There are about 40 possible places to use weapon effects in all, including spots like the inside of his big purple thrusters. Can't wait to deck him out with 'Brunt' when he comes out, too.

To be honest I watched another guy's review before yours that was around 10 mins but yours is way more detailed and you explained alot more...he has more views but you have the better review of the figure! 🏆

I agree - it really should be $40 instead of $50. Even so, this is probably the single best Generations Shockwave, and I'm keeping my eyes open for him. I just got my CW Legends Shockwave delivered today - it took me this long to find one that wasn't $20 - so that's only increasing my anticipation for this guy.

I've weighed all the WFC:Siege figure I have, so far. Firedrive 0.33oz Cog 3.04oz Megatron 6.66oz ( No Kidding!) Shockwave 4.50oz (7.59oz including drone pieces)

50 bucks for a voyager....maaaaaan I just....can't.....

Like that you posted the drone on a stand. It reminds me of the Strogg unit in Quake Chamions that comes with a recon drone.

It's a fun toy to play with, but worth the 30 dollar voyager price, not 50 leader price. Definitely using the extra pieces as a drone vs armor.

Ive been waiting for this review! I had this figure in my hand at Target. But I couldnt pull the trigger yet. The Price is too damn high. It does look like an awesome figure though. Great Review TMan!

I’d love a Galacticman/Astromagnum/shackwave version especially if they went with blood red for all the clear parts.

I’m surprised you felt the plastic was Combiner Wars quality. Personally I found it to be as substantial as the rest of the line. That said I agree with a lot of your points. I’d also rather pay for official figures that hold their value as opposed to 3rd party offerings for CHUG scale. Remember that legends class 3rd party offerings, namely Iron Factory, are over $50, it made the price easier to swallow.

I just ponied up the 50 bucks and will eat PB&J's for a week. Live to fight another day. I'm a sucker for Shockwave and its actually a great figure.

I need to find the rest of Wave 1. I can’t wait for wave 2.

People are complaining about price but it seems like it might be that the cost went into clear parts and complexity. Also, the hose and the clear yellow eye and bridge. So I think that’s why he’s the same price. However, If it’s accurate that they didn’t add as much as Magnus. I’m a bit surprised we didn’t get some additional parts that could allow for a base mode platform or a medical slab. Maybe alternate wheeled treaded parts for the feet that had wheels which could have made the drone into an assault tank. Or even, some extra gun that can slide over the gun arm. Which could also slide over the extra arms. I’d have loved science tools and maybe a scanner or radar tool. Hasbro, seems to be considering addon parts, blast effects (which is awesome), extra paint (thankfully), but I would like some tools as well or devices. I mean, what’s to stop Shockwave from having a wielding torch or cutting tool. Or even a scanner.

I had to shave down the plastic on the peg for the hose on my figure. It works perfectly now without getting cemented in the peg holes.

Need to get this... haven't gotten it bc it's $50... plus too much stuff coming out that I got first... Been waiting on a sale

Awesome figure although I have to buy another one whenever I get a chance. & I definitely agree with the price point being a little too expensive for this. But I like it enough to pay the price. Which is also why I hate that I have to buy another one. Thanks for the review,Mr. T-Man sir! Lol!!!

Anyone remember how in wfc transformers games the scientist class had a summonable flying artillery unit.

Cool figure, but they did a fantabulously poor job trying to emulate the Power of the Primes Evolution gimmick of those Leader class peeps here. And the armor looks even sillier than the three animal armor bits for the Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Shockwave. All that molded detailing reminds me of the Fall of Cybertron one, which is cool. Definitely a must get despite the lack of size. Bring on Soundwave and the Seekers!!

When I make the drone out of Shockwave's gear, the left booster thing sits in place very loose on mine. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

I haven't had the chance to listen to your full review yet, but if you had to choose one between this bot or MP version, which would it be?

I to my phone 'hey Google what color is Shockwave transformers?' and Google answered 'purple.' So what the heck is this blue thing they're calling Shockwave in Seige? 🤦‍♀️. I'll get him if they fix his color. Also after giving all these figures blasters and bazookas, they can't give Megatron and Shockwave their correct alternate modes? Blow dryers look like guns. You don't see me and other women going bonkers over that. Jeez. Its a toy.
