This is an instant favoourite of mine. it's crazy how you can go from rougher projects like last week stairs to just a little shy of four eyes level of fine furniture and be awsome at both. The folded legs blend amazingly into the design.
Always watch but don’t often comment. Love that coffee to dining table design, the use of magnets to hold in place and give it that solid clicked in feeling was excellent use of your design skills. Love the look of the table from the side view. Congratulations!
I just want to say I watched you from when you first started and always said you are like a pro. Nice to see you are becoming a great woodworker. Nice job April. Take Care and be safe please
Very nice design April. Simple and functional and dual purpose as well. And I do like the walnut. thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay healthy.
Goodness April. I loved the design. So simple and beautiful. Good job. I hope you're doing well with your business and able to check on your friend Anne. I confess that I had tears in my eyes when I saw her last videos. And it's not just her. I follow some other RU-vidrs that are hands on and creative, like My self Reliance here in Canada. I just want to say that I keep you all in my prayers, as is the only way I can help. Sending you and your family and friends my best wishes . God bless you.
HI April. This is Ramesh from India. I regularly watch all your videos. I am greatly impressed with the work you do & that too all alone. Great skills. Congrats on your new facilities. Going great guns. Keep growing & wish you succeed in all your endeavours.
Love your project! We eat dinner in front of the TV and your table looks like a great dual purpose solution - I may be making one to surprise my wife for Christmas!
Hey April, Neat little table, great idea. Modern, yet has a hint of 1960's furniture, I really like it. You are very innovative in your designs. I'm glad that you are doing so good with your channel and other pursuits. Happy Year End and all the best, C.
April, that is a fantastic design. The legs are so clever and I love the laptop storage. I can't wait to get my house built so I can start working on some of your plans!
That is an awesome Table April!!! 10/10 again. Also we get our organic veg and organic meat delivered on a weekly basis too. They take everything back the following week. They use Sheep Wool as the insulation in the Meat Box with Re-usable ice packs. The veg even come with 100% no packaging (just the cardboard delivery box). Hope you, your crew & Family are all keeping well.
OMG, this just solved a problem for me. We're downsizing to a one bedroom apartment and really don't have the space for a dining table. We have a small breakfast bar but if we want to have anyone over, there's really no place to eat. This will be perfect! Liked and subscribed.
I like the design concept. Would suggest adding edge banding to the "feet" of both sets of legs to prevent the plywood from being visible when either set of leggs is folded up.
Great project! Just so you know, this video isn’t showing up on my ‘subscriptions’ feed. I saw your Instagram post and come to watch this, but didn’t see the video until I went to your channel. Don’t know if this is on my end, or if RU-vid is changing the algorithms again, but if you’re not getting the views you’re expecting you might look in to that! Good luck, and always looking forward to more projects!
A great Video as usual! I think this is a great idea, I very much like the look of your design and the simplicity of it... on the other hand, I've been looking at those coffee tables that have a lift up mechanism so you could lift it up to work/eat on the top; the lift operation doesn't have the table at an awkward angle while adjusting the height (things on the top would slide off). So now you've got me thinking... maybe combine the look of your table but have the lift function of the other?? after all, I _do_ need a coffee table.
That's an awesome build, especially in smaller spaces that often require furniture to serve multiple purposes. I had a flashback of nostalgia when you pulled out the Weldwood glue. When I took a wood shop class in high school (late 70s), Weldwood glue was a brown powder in a quart can. You scooped it out, mixed it with water, and there was your glue. It was amazingly strong stuff. So how do you like this Weldwood glue? Is it your new go-to vs. Titebond?
