I'm 46, after long researches and 2 years of _mewing_ I'm having the "silicon brace" to enlarge my palate. I'm pretty confident that in 5 years (at least) I'll have a wide palate that fit my lower jaw 💪 never too late for improvements
Kid is fortunate his mom didn’t let typical dentists ruin his facial development. Mew will forever be fringe because of capital. I’m very happy to see this kid develop into a good looking young man!
@@yessirski9801 I ended up getting for my underbite and noticed a slimmer look in face. Especially with jawline. I'd say it looks better and my bite is more comfortable now.
Everyone does... That's the whole purpose of the orthotropic premise. Tongue on the roof of the mouth, teeth together, and lips closed. This will widen the maxila. Also chew gum
@@onekingaj1004 john mew did this later in his life and he still has a long recessed face. so the takeaway here is that children benefit the most from good tongue posture, like 5-12 year olds. not everyone has access to that, or even access to this knowledge. i think that’s what they meant to say. idk
@Diego Cerda Raising your tongue on the palate normally. your tongue touches front teeth are okay or teeth do not close together. If you force your teeth closed, it means you force your tongue not to raise. Tell me how do you feel.
Amazing 👍👍👍👍 it’s a crime that patients and their parents are not given this option!!!! This boy looks amazing. This approach address the whole body function, tongue posture, chewing, nasal breathing, facial growth and development , together with Myofunctional therapy!!!!! By the way the family dentist’s comment about ORTHOTROPICS is infuriating!!! What a smart mother to trust Dr Mew and not the family dentist!!!! I doubt he would look as good even after the invasive surgery!!!!! Incredible!!!! Bravo 👍great patient - dentist team work!!!! 👏👏👏👏
I am fairfully impressed with your outstanding practices and I hope that the international orthodontics community will listen to this significant knowledge and revolutionary perspective. This is key evidence that invasive surgery can and should be avoided.
mike pleaseeeeeee never give up on what you are doing. am not sure you realize how much you are changing peoples lives. beauty definitely has a huge impact on a persons life and you are changing peoples lives for the better by improving their looks and therefore confidence and probably health/mental health just with changing their looks alone but i also believe you are changing peoples health as properly breathing is actually quite an important thing am sure and its important for sleeping atleast in my case greatly, ever since i made big leaps in mewing i slept way better than i did before. Never stop what you are doing because you are changing peoples lives. And i believe some day you will make one of the greatest changes in society.
Keep going on Mike, i will help as much as i can, i will watch and like every video until it's out to the public, i will share this with everyone i know or meet who need help, what your father did and what you are still doing is revolutionary, it's Gold, every parent MUST know this, you are actually helping every human to have a better health a better look and a better LIFE !!!
Adults need MORE HELP! PLEASE CONSIDER PROVIDING SOLUTIONS FOR ADULTS. if parents are poor and can't afford this treatment then you should consider and try to help ADULTS TOO
William doesn't realize the headgear he had is not at all like what traditional orthodontics uses. Traditional orthodontics mutilates faces where Mike mew brings jaws forward
@Stxr KillerX don’t listen to your orthodontis, he just wants money. He can’t make you do anything. Just start mewing if you haven’t already. Your tongue is your bodies natural retainer. Our bodies were created perfectly to fix and heal themselves, we don’t need metal wires or human inventions to correct our teeth
Thank you doctor! They wanted to put braces on my teeth but i decided to take the risk despite the media telling me not to trust you. 3 years later everyone is asking me how tf did i get such a jaw. Dentists were outraged :D. Continue the good work!
I hope one day i can thank both mews, i hope i have a chance I’ve now got perfect facial form thanks to you too ! Took me 2 years if anyone’s interested
@@chaniam no, perfect as in, i have the same facial form as; Michelle pfeiffer, Jordan Barrett, Kate moss, Elsa hosk, Erik van gills, Marcus rashford, fernando Cabral, any indigenous tribal peoples
@@dawseyboy1 How old are you? am 22 and i have had an extreme change aswell. And my face does look like some of the people on there (in terms of facial development)
@@rgzzz3375 I started mewing when I was 21. October time, I finished mewing October we’ve just had, so it took me about 2 years. Good stuff my man. Keep it up
@@dawseyboy1 you're so lucky. Good for you! There was no RU-vid when I was that age, the information just wasn't out there. (Although they knew braces made ugly faces alrady in the 1970s. Bastards!) But I'm helping my own children - mouthtape at night, chewing gum, etc. And when they're about 15, they'll know it's super important and it still won't be too late.
Been consistently Mewling for approx 3 yrs, see & feel a little changes for the better & I'm in my 60s! Wanting to get they're special face brace as I struggle to keep mouth closed when I sleep but not sure what's needed or where to order one.
While you wait for your device you can use tape to keep your mouth shut when sleeping. 3M makes Nexcare strong hold tape for sensitive skin. It doesn't bother my skin at all.
I can see the results in my face! My ortho was so impressed that I learned about this before I came to see him. I tell EVERY person I meet about this method!
Just found mewing a few days ago, going to try this everyday. I had Braces for 4 Years now I wear retainer at night, I have at least class 2 underbite, Used to get harsh migraines as a kid had no Idea any of this was interconnected. My orthodontist said "There's nothing you can do, Jaw is still growing". Even when I had braces always felt like my Tongue didn't have enough room in my mouth so I'm sure I pushed against my bottom teeth, as my front 2 bottom teeth seem to have gotten farther out past few years. Hoping for the best we didn't have braces 1000 years ago yet everyone's bite was fine so it never made sense to me why every kid "needs" braces now.
Well done Mike mew and John mew! I currently have an underbite, I am 19yrs old and have been mewing for a year now, I have not seen any changes, but this is encouraging, and hopefully in the future I will
@@shaileshs3079 I have been mewing for 2 years now, I have received comments from my family members that I look more mature, and have better cheekbone and jaw definition. I lost my chubby cheeks, and my palate size has increased a little. My lower Jaw is still in front of my upper Jaw, I think that will take many years to correct. I would advise you to correct your swallowing pattern, and not do hard mewing mewing, focus on the swallowing mostly, that has helped me the most. ❤️
@@olaoluwaodeyemi4059 basically how I swallow is, first i chew food at my molars(can the food touch cheeks near molars?) And after chewing i take the food to the roof of the mouth and then swallow, while without any movement in my face and actually iam using a removable palate expander for now, because I have a slight not much narrow palate after my palate is normal size i will continue to mew, am i in the right path? And you said your lower jaw is still in front, so does people recognise that very obviously? Or is it like a slight underbite?( Just to tell my condition, i don't have severe underbite, but I have crossbite too).
@@shaileshs3079 How you described your swallow almost sounds aright, why? Because you did not mention engaging the back of the tongue. To ensure that you are practicing the right swallowing pattern, I advise you watch an animation on the orthotropics channel, and I also advise you practice swallowing with water at first in the chin tuck position against a wall, that is how I started. I have a slight underbite, people do not notice it until they see my teeth.
I knew about Orthotropics and I asked the dentist about my 2 year olds slightly crowded bottom incisors (front four teeth), and the dentist said she’d have to see an orthodontist when she was older and get braces. Blew my mind!
Thankful for your practice and RU-vid videos. You speak truth! It’s a shame we live in a society with healthcare that profits off our ailments. Conventional orthodontics could never fix and get to the root of this boys problem like you did. Thanks for going against mainstream media and conventional orthotrdontics. I fully support your work!!!
Keep working! The world is waiting for dentists to catch on. I have an extreme underbite but there is nobody practicing orthotropics in my area, so I’ll probably have to go through surgery if I’m to fix it. Hopefully people in the future won’t have to!
I really wonder whether this would work on adults. There was a gentleman on the Joe Rogan's podcast (James Nestor) who claims to have widened his maxila and grew bone well into his 40s.
Older people who have had a stroke that affect their face muscles end up changing their facial bones. Therefore pressure will reshape bone at pretty much any age.
People in general should expand their mindset and mental periphery! This makes all the sense in the world. Sadly , it’s unavailable where we live so we had to turn to Invisiline which I must say, is doing a great job. No surgery AND more importantly, the great improvements aren’t prompted by an orthodontist’s decision on how/what the end result should be. I wish Dr Mew great success. Let the results speak for themselves. Orthodontists are trained to do what they’ve learned after years of studies and they cannot think outside the box. Mewing takes time, patience and great dedication but it has been tried and true time and time again. That’ll show the haters.
I had braces and after I got them taken out I couldn't properly close my mouth anymore bc my teeth didn't fit together anymore, I started doing the things I found here and after a few months I started seeing and feeling differences and now I can properly close my mouth again and my facial form has improved so much, so tha k you for this!
THANK YOU Dr. Mew. You and your father will be recognized someday for delivering truth even against the censorship the biased odontological academy has drawn on you.
The Mews and Kent Hovind are my favourite revealers of the truth out there! This is REAL science and the world needs to know If the Mews and Kent Hovind lent each other bits of relevant info, they could really up each others game! Give em more to work with, and a larger combined audience too. Not that their areas of science have a lot in common, but they both stand in the face of angry “experts” people who want to silence them, so they have a similar problem to tackle

This is my case I would like Dr Mew or anyone interested to observe and comment upon: I have a visible overbite and also a stutterer primary with lower jaw trembling while speaking... I developed a bad habit on making my lower jaw slack so that lower lip would meet the upper lip, this had an effect of somewhat hiding my overbite, I think some refer as jutting the lower jaw forward artificially.. I don't know whether this is the cause of my stuttering, or just a coincidence, anyways I am not commenting for my stuttering problem... However now I realized that this bad oral posture was the primary reason that I was not able to breathe through nose, I had come across the proper tongue posture theory but I was not able to sustain the tongue posture due to this bad habit, keeping the tongue on the roof of the mouth was difficult for me while keeping this posture.. This bad posture I think also affected my cognition/thinking abilities and memory capacity, this may be due to my face balance out of whack and the habit of improper breathing habits... Now, I am training myself to keep my lower jaw not stray forward or I think in medical terms my mandible now stays intact and not let loose from its socket.. I am easily able to keep the normal tongue posture, it stays there automatically now in this oral posture now.. So, my concern is whether the proper oral posture and tongue posture affects one's thinking and memory, because for me it has been night and day difference.. I am able to think so much faster now and also able to remember the details much better... or this is just the effect of nose breathing that I am able to do now versus mouth or improper breathing that I was doing due to the bad oral posture...
The mom has a protuberant lower jaw. It is evident that the treatment has accompanied in the formation of the kid to have a fine development in the way. My jaw is protuberant and as an adult i wanted to keep all my teeth, although every doctor wanted to extract a minimum of (4) four teeth and one surgeon wanted to cut both of my bones in half. Absolutely invasive. Then found a dentist who could polish certain teeth, which were the biggest. Now the upper teeth have come down and shaped fine and my bite has improved.
I am not sure but in my opinion traditional orthodontist prefer surgery to make money, and people actually have no idea about the treatment therefore they have no other choice just to go after what their orthodontist says, I hope people to do some research to avoid big jump treatments like surgeries everything is on internet now just don't be lazy and make research.
The Orthotropics website to find a provider seems to be compromised. I searched for a provider in the US. A dentist in Maryland showed in the results. Upon checking the dentist's website there was NO sign of Orthotropics to be found. This dentist recommended extractions and the website states they follow the Board of Orthodontics recommendations. Please look into this.
I wish I had this info much sooner. Maybe I would have a pretty face now. As it is im laughed at can called names. I never had the money to get my teeth fixed and just move on

Is there anybody that you have trained here in Australia as yet? I have been doing the Myobrace Treatment for my daughter since she was 5 and she is now 8 going on 9. I believe that she may need further treatment until she has stopped growing and her jaw has been stabilized. I would love for it to be Orthotropics!
When I was younger I had traditional ortho. Luckily not the headgear that pulls jaw back, but reverse headgear for underbite, RPE, retainers, and braces. It pulled my maxilla forward but is it possible the reverse headgear caused a weak chin or didnt allow lower jaw to come forward? I believe I have a posterior tongue tie. I have straight teeth but what route is best to get a stronger jawline, and forward maxilla at the age of 27?
Guys I realized, that when I’m mewing my tongue is more on the left side on the roof of my mouth rather than on both sides, It’s hard for me to push the tongue equally... any help?
I would have said it to anyone who would listen. I did that with a homeopathic doctor who saver me from having surgery to some nerves behind my ear in the brain. She has helped so many of my friends and family. Allopathic medicine is not always the answer.
I have one too. They say about the boy "he had a severe underbite". If that is severe, don't know what they call my case. I can put a finger between my upper and under teeth. Lucky I'm an old guy (50+), have a beard and moustache. Good luck for the future.
Dr mew please make a mewing appliances so that everybody can mew and sell it for the amount you think it's worth pleaseeee it would help a lot of people golbally who can not afford to visit you personally or live far away
I´m 29 years old and just got diagnosed with an underbite and that I will need braces and a operation on my jaw. For my whole life If had trouble breathing through my nose, because of it being blocked to a certain degree. Nobody told me that breathing through your mouth would cause problems to my jaw and teeth. Now I´m on my way of unblocking my nose (with a surgery) but I dont know if there are others ways than surgery to get my teeth and jaw to be the way they should be. I live in Germany and am not sure if there are any orthodontics who use the method without a surgery and if it´s still possible in my age. I found Dr.Mew a year ago and since then try to breath through my nose as much as possible with now knowing that my tounge has to rest on the top behind the teeth. Is there a chance for me to fix this without a surgery at my age?
My son is 10 and up until he had teeth pulled at age 4 he had a normal. Bite. After they pulled 4 top front teeth he had an under bite. I want it fixed but here in the USA it would cost thousands and my insurance only covers 50% up to 2000 a year. So unless I hit the lottery he is stuck with this condition.
That’s what I had but I had my canines protruding out on the uppers and I did Lauren so I had four teeth extracted at the age of 13 to 18 we’re not going for retainers as I mentioned to you before but that was back in the late 70s..
Hello doctor, I need your help. I started mewing 6 months ago, it turns out that my interpupillary distance has increased. Before I measured 63 mm then I went to 65 mm then to 70 mm and right now to 75 mm I need your help doctor please. When I was 65 mm I started to realize that it looked weird please help me
One question Mewing brothers! I started mewing this month , but when it would be recomended that i start "tongue chewing" and "chewing gum"? I know that first we have to have a strong tongue (with tongue chewing) to counter the strong jaw muscles (chewing gum) so , first we have to tongue chew? And cor how many time we can do both?
Can someone recommend a doctor like him in US, California? My daughter has an overjet, she is 8. We are still searching for good doctor we can trust with treatment. Thanks guys.
I’m having surgery double jaw surgery on the 19th of April, to fix my underbite only 2 of my teeth come into contact! Top molar and bottom molar on my left side! And 21 years old maybe I will benifit from this surgery but I will combine it with your work so I won’t relapse any opinions? Should I cancel I’m just so confused
Also have an open bite and you ge thrust my posture isn’t the best since I’ve spent my whole life gaming but I’m taking that serious now, well I guess I’ll be going thru with the surgery and I’ll fix the root causes, but I didn’t hear my surgeon tell me anything about widening my palate HELP 😭
I have a question mike, In mouth breathing facial deformity. Is it the actual breathing through the mouth that causes that or the open mouth non lip seal causing adenoid face?
Money comes out of people whose jaws are messed up (unfortunately those who can’t afford will have no choice but to leave it be). So a bunch of dentists n orthodontists will make their way to that so people will rely on them.
