A bit of both currently. On W10 1809, W8.1, and W8, there is no known issues, bugs, or problems (other than titlebars being centered on W8.0). On W10 1903+, there can be minor visual glitches in some cases, however a fix for this is being actively worked on. There shouldn't be any noticeable slowdown either way.

I would say backup with something like Reflect and then you can restore it if you do not like it. I would not actually trust a revert.

@LNLenost cmd is supposed to run as cmd not ask what app should open cmd. if this happens it could be a glitch and maybe try running with cmd because the part after BITS, is run with cmd so try that.

Edge can easily be downloaded from microsoft and Supermium is easy to uninstall. However, Supermium is included because it's a fairly up-to-date browser that works on W8, W8.1, and all versions of W10 and W11, with aero theme support, and with even more customisation options!

Again - Since some people are misunderstanding what is being said/asked: It is not about the fact that Edge can be easily installed back on. It is about that some people do not wish for the built-in system browser to be removed, just because creator considers another browser to be better/superior. Microsoft Edge is a browser updated just as regularly as most other browsers out there. The fact that you can remove Supermium and reinstall Edge easily should not be used as an excuse for this to be done, UNLESS it is specifically and clearly detailed in GitHub repository description so that people know about this beforehand and can decide for themselves that they are fine with this. Otherwise, why is this being defended? It's only reasonable to ask for a fork that doesn't do anything like this because not all people are fine with this happening on their PC without prior knowledge.

@@teknixstuff Aero theme support is the only thing here that can justify this even a little bit. Things such as well updated and customization options on the other hand should not matter for a project that aims to simply redesign the system to fit the look of an older Windows release. I do greatly appreciate your work on this project but I still do believe people should have a choice in the matter. I will be looking for different options for myself at least in the future.

Everything should still work fine. On newer versions of 10 and 11 there can be minor visual glitches with some unusual third-party apps, other than that nothing else should break.

Chrome OS is very hard to customise. I would highly recommend switching to Windows 10 if you want to do anything other than web browsing really.

ChromeOS cant be changed it is a locked down OS. Chromebooks/ChromeOS is just a glorified browser

If you don't know then you should not have done it. You always make a backup image before doing something like this. @@f05xd.36

The creator of the project (NOT THE VIDEO) says this theme improves a lot of performance (Windows 10 grade performance on Windows 11 and Windows 7 grade performance on Windows 10

It's just a theme, although in some edge cases it can boost performance.

@@WololoWololo2 StartAllBack actually is very good, and does do a lot of good for performance. My theme does a bit more, but StartIsBack/StartAllBack still is a major component.

When on the logon screen, press ALT + F4 on your keyboard to close the Windows 7 login screen and return to the Windows 10 one so that you can login.
