I got a j31 Maxima 2005 Vq35 automatic It's an australian vehicle It won't select 3rd or 4th gear Do you think if I do this same thing it will fix my problem It drives fine otherwise but won't change into any gear past after 2nd
A valvebody where I live is $8000.00 in Caribbean Currency. My reading is bad steppper motor, torck converter clutch soleniod and Line pressure solenoid. I would really like a video that shows these on the valve body and which Line pressure solenoid is responsible for moving from 3rd to 4th gear.
I got a 2012 Nissan Altima 3.5 and have the code p0746 the car goes in to drive but does not want to accelerate or pass 15 mph and reverse also works but feels like it’s gna stall it’s the solenoid A will it be better do change the whole valve body? Does it come with new solenoids ?
I removed the valve body on my 07 Altima and replace the solenoid but now my car won’t move at all. I made sure the ratio control arm was connected to the stepper motor and the pin in the transmission but it still won’t move need help please
You didn't show a pic of how it looked finished because that valve body didn't fit in your car. That big green plastic connector that's on the new one but not the original.... Yeah, that will prevent that part from fitting.
I don't have a code but when I start my car up I hear a rattling sound...then when I gas I hear it also....and it won't go to 6 gear unless I do it myself....but when it's in 6 gear I dont get no power at all it doesn't even want to go faster...can't the valve body be the problem...or do I need a whole new Transmission?
Apparently if you buy a used rebuilt one uou dont have to but if you buy a totally new one you do. If you buy a new one i believe you can just remove the control unit from the old one and put in the new one .
I have the exact problem happens when its warm out, so I figured it was overheating so I put a transmission oil cooler still the problem remains and I changed the fluid with a lower grade brand
So my nissan altima 3.5 se 2007 the car was having problems with the gears everytime i drove it for 1 hr it will not accelerate at all anymore, i change the valve body for another one and now it doesn't drive at all it tries alittle bit what can be the problem here? Sorry if i didn't explain my self correctly any info i can get it will help alot thanks
Where did you order the part from? No one wants to just sell the solinoid for the value body they want to sell the whole unit almost 1400.00. Would you happen to have any reliable resources?
There is no reprogramming involved , but you want to switch the little black box also called a ROM (read only memory) from original valve body to the one your installing . If you like we sell these valve bodys fully rebuilt with a 1 year warranty call today 813-961-5560
is this the same on my 2013 maxima 3.5 i need to change out if im gettin the p1778 .... How much did you pay for yours and what website did get it from
I've replaced the valve body on my 2007 Maxima when I got in the car to start it the car show that it's in R(reverse) when it's in park. Car doesn't start either No crank Need help thanks in advance
Good morning i have a 2005 nissan maxima with a 5 speed automatic transmission where exactly is the transmission filter located?? Do i need to drop the entire trans to remove the filter??
naw bro I didt it didn't work It works till the 2011 after that you must take it to the nissan dealer to get programmed I found out the hard way I spent all that money for nothing becasue when I took it to them since mine had such low miles the replaced it for $1000 the did me something called a good deed . good luck if it does work
yeah it what im saying is after the 2011 that it wont work I took mine to a programmer see if he could do it and he gave me the info because he said nissan mercedes and cant remember what other company use a special program that you have to be a member to and it requieres you to pay like 5 gs a year and he said he did not have the membership because it was rare for a nissan or Mercedes to pull up to his shop with that type problem but if you have an 2011 and you have selenoid problems swaping out the valve body is the way to go and it a do it your self type job so guy do your research and hope this info helps.
