In episode 03 of this playthrough, we focus on expanding the lines that we've already created and adding on a few more destinations. We begin by developing a Food production route at Carshalton using river boats to ship Grain up to the Food production plant outside the town. We then expand our passenger rail line by sending it on a single track down to Carshalton, making the line now Tenterden to Carshalton via Skelton-on-Cleveland. Similarly, we expand the passenger and fuel lines in the other direction up to Ferryhill. Much more to come in this series!

I think until faster and more powerful trains become available (late 1920's), separate trains would make more sense. Great episode!

Btw try to put two pass through tracks because it means that there won’t be any signal jiggling… if you have two then you can make a one way system which negates crossovers:)

the steel bridge us period correct, first one was built in 1867 and you are in 1876

Definitely could have. I think at the time I did it to route the road traffic to different locations. Not sure if that makes a huge difference through. Thanks for watching!

I'm stumped... why don't you just let the bridges be built for the time being and go back later when you have more money and remove the bridges? You spent a couple of million putting in land instead of the bridges... that would have build a lot of infrastructure.
