why does my simpler only have one note when you have the whole keyboard at 1:03? I start out in simpler with the full keyboard but after I click to edit any other track and back in I'm toggled to one note for some reason

Just above the piano roll you will see "fold" - my assumption is you might have fold toggles on which will only show the notes you have inputted a midi note/click on... Let me know if that helps and thanks for dropping by 👊🏼

what is up with his bpm? when I write the beat just as he did on the grid it sounds nothing like it until I move the bpm from his 142 bpm all the way down to 37 bpm

Hey that’s mad, firstly I appreciate the comment and taking the time - my one thought here is that perhaps the subdivisions in your grid aren’t set correctly which has resulted in it seeming really slow because you have essentially written the pattern in a half time.. let me know if that makes sense and you can change the note grid by using cntrl/cmd 1&2 as the key commands

How do you make hi hat roll pitch dives like in FL Studio? I want every single hi hat in the roll to have different pitch.

Hey, you simply just put each note on a different key in the piano roll to ensure it’s going down or up in pitch, also using the velocity to descend really helps too - hope that helps unless I’ve misunderstood? 🍻

I know what you mean, but then you have to click or move each note one by one on a different key and it's always going to be exactly one of the 12 notes. In FL Studio, at the bottom of the piano roll you can customize the pitch per note. If you zoom into the grid you can use ctrl/cmd + 1 or 2 to change sun divisions that currently aren’t showing - hope that helps, thanks for coming through! 👊🏼
