Hey Mr Daniel, if you want to catch the bigger tilapia, you may want to get a cast net and start slinging it,jump on the boat and go all over the pond slinging the net,in Florida that's how we do it,especially if we want plenty of tilapia for supper...just a thought.

We have a little pond that would be perfect for raising tilapia. It’s around 20-25 foot wide and about 60 foot long. We built it to raise shiner minnows to transfer into our 4 big ponds to feed the catfish we raised. It’s the perfect size for seining. It wasn’t very expensive to build either. I just thought that might be something you would be interested in doing if you want to continue raising tilapia.

For wild hogs Put out bait Combine a Night vision scope or Thermal scope On a AR15 or AR10 rifle ... I use a FN FAL Add a Suppressor and hunt the hogs at night After a few hunts , the numbers are lower And our freezer had a lot more pork in it

I say put a camera pointing towards the pond. See if the tilapia are coming to the top. Just a suggestion. I have a small dam be hung my parents place. But not enough water to hold throughout the year. Have a good week boys!! 👍🏼

We have 24/7/365 season on them in SC because they are considered an invasive species here but... never see them on our homestead

You need to get a cast net and see if you can catch some before they die off. Catch a bunch of them and freeze them so they don't go to waste.

Put a big cattle tank in the shop & aerate it for the tilapia. You could also add a tank heater.

I totally understand what you’re saying about the hogs. I don’t know if they still do it , but I have watched videos of a company that captures and kills feral hogs in some parts of the country. They can destroy a big garden just overnight. That’s a lot of lost money for that farmer!
