Aaah gotta trust Thermos! Even after all these years they can’t be beat! I’ve got 2 (1 large and 1 small) and have lasted me years!

One question, Swell and Chillys caps are compatible with each other?

In heat tests, I think you'll find that because heat rises and will escape through large openings, the lid is the most crucial factor. The thermos will have a half-turn option, similar to the yeti, that allows you to pour hot liquids without opening the massive lid. In practice, this keeps hot liquids hot for longer in the real world. Also, the thermos and swell feel light and flimsy because they are vacuum bottles and use a vacuum for insulation between outer and inner walls. Does the yeti? I'm not sure. Anyway, less components between the outer and inner walls will retain heat longer - a vacuum is a sure way to keep anything from tou hing the inner wall ... unless, of course, the vacuum seal is broken. Cold drinks is a different story... you need good base insulation, caps matter less, and you need a wide mouth to get ice in.

Can you do a reverse one and see how well they keep drinks cold? 👍🏼😊

Did you measure the same amount of hot water on every bottle? Might have an effect on the temperature
