In this week's video, we drive over near the Montana - Idaho state border to hike to the amazing Kootenai Falls Suspension Bridge. We found out that it's also called the Kootenai Swinging Bridge! There was a hiking trail that split into two trails, one heading to the swinging bridge and the other to the waterfalls. The bridge is a newer cable suspended bridge that is about 100 ft above the raging river below with beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains. The waterfalls were spread out over a wider part of the river upstream from the bridge. This allowed us to climb over the rocks that were not under flowing water. Almost like one big play gym! We would suggest this hike to anyone who is passing through or in the area!
