I usually do walking tours around cities, but I decided to try a narrated travel vlog from morning to evening, covering my day as I get to work in Cleveland, but then prepare to travel later in the day to Denver and Salt Lake City. Filmed on June 8, 2023.

Your videos are always like an adventure for me. The Rapid and many bus transfers took me where I needed to go. I never let "the moss grow under my feet" when I lived there. I so enjoy your walks and narratives as you go. I feel like I've just had a visit to our old city....thank you for making it possible and I might add, your camera makes it look like being there in person!

Its pretty neat that your trip involves your feet and buses accompanied by a travel log. When I think of Cleveland I think of shopping, not so much walking. But I enjoy the walking commentary.

Ive experienced several times out here in California the orange sun and sky from the wildfires. Sometimes there is a light dusting of white ash on everything as if a volcano erupted. Very strange and almost apocalyptic. Thanks for the Cleveland videos, they are appreciated.

Greetings from Westlake Your videos are always entertaining! It was so interesting to actually see your building & office. The vibe of your building was so chill- just like you. Your total acceptance of everyday annoyances - and dead pan reactions are indeed funny. Most people would immediately fly into a rage over the tv not working on the plane and insist on their seat being moved- because it’s part of what they’ve paid for. Not you. Your dead pan stream of consciousness-I guess I’ll just stare at the blank screen -was hilarious to me. Also, your pop up rapid cancellation- most people can’t think when their hit with an unexpected travel delay but your automate problem solving technique is remarkable to me. You are so unique-I mean it - You made a haircut interesting. I wish the Russo brothers could see you. There is a superhero living inside of you-a frugal one-🚵🏻‍♂️🎬🚀✈️ 🎥

Haha, thanks. Yes, those little things that come up spontaneously (i.e. broken button, rapid detour, etc) help make the vlog style interesting because it builds a bit of a pace of the viewer never knowing what to expect. I was going to point out how gross the ground looked at the Lorain Ave. bus stop in the morning for a quick hitter clip, but before I could film it, a fellow rider came and sat down at the station. Little things like that are fun to capture for future vlogs; and vlog style posts can be helpful for re-exploring areas I've already done full live tours of.

I like the "travel vlog" concept. Don't worry about being "entertaining", it was fine as is. Nice haircut. 🙂Nosey question: if you don't drive and you work downtown, have you considered living downtown?

I've occasionally thought about living Downtown, but don't have to pay rent at my current spot, so that made it a bit of a no-brainer.
