i have 6 most mine are archive fat ones that hold more but i use an passport for everyday and a standard for sketching and scrapbooking/ travel journal my problem is fountain pens though....
One month since I've discovered fountain pens and the subsequent discoveries over the course of the month include, TNs, dip pens, Field Notes, Bullet Journaling, Commonplace Books, Noodler's BayState Blue in all its glory and terror..... and yes, I have purchased several TN-style in various sizes. Think I have enough stationary supplies to write an entire set of encyclopedia and enough TNs for at least five more Indiana Jones sequels. My latest addition is passport-sized from September Leather that fits at least 4 Field Notes and room for more, love the damn thing. Think I'll be picking up another A5 from September Leather soon. I see from other comments that I'm in good company.
Yeah I've been in that camp too but as I was needing to take more notes as my work expanded I moved to larger books. I started with A5 when I had an office job and seems I'm coming full circle 😂👍
Oh I loved this. No , you don’t have a problem! Now, I have an entire Welsh dresser full of travellers notebooks (well over 40?) and this is too many! However I don’t own a passport size one, but I do have b6 size. I find September Leather to be excellent and so is their paper. I’m interested in your fountain pens though, as that’s a lot of ink logs!:) i have started to take an interest in philosophy, so I’m using some of my notebooks for this subject. If there’s a Travellers Notebook Anonymous, I think I’d best join, lol! Great video!
Thanks for the watch. Yeah fountain pens and ink are one of my other obsessions 😂 I had to do the log to help me remember what is inked and what I'm liking. I'll probably have to plan a video just dedicated to some pens 👍
Great review thank you. I was really interested in buying a Midori, but your review of the September Leather version convinced me that I would be paying more for a brand name (Midori) over a superior product (sept Leather). I prefer the fact that the Sept LEather can take more inserts due to the slightly over larger leather, and the fact that it has 4 elastic bands in the spine to hold the inserts rather than just one in the Midori.
I also have the pocket size September leather I enjoy using the Moleskine Pocket Yearly Daily Calendar so it’s used only when using my Moleskine products. Never bad to have all your notebooks with a leather cover so for me many Travelers notebooks also.
I can see that :) I have a few Galen leather prosects but feel they can be a little thicker as they have multiple layers of leather. the slim cover I have in A6 is excellent though.
At the moment they all Have a use, I think my want for an olive one is purely cosmetic though. Meaning that one would drop out the daily use for a while. That said as i type this Im now thinking i could Use a TN for a different Project im working on hahaha
