Join us and experience our driving trip to Spain as we take you through the journey we embarked on. We kicked off by boarding a ferry from Dover to Calais, making our way across the channel before hitting the A4 highway. The road offered scenic views as we continued our drive.
Feeling hungry, we made a pit stop at Aire de l'esperance, just outside of Reims, where we grabbed a quick lunch before resuming our journey. As the day turned to night, we found ourselves at Aire de Farges on the A6 motorway (between Tournus and Lyon). This rest stop provided the necessary reprieve for an overnight stay and had a brilliant little play park and picnic area!
The following morning marked the continuation of our adventure into Spain. Our chosen accommodation was Camping Cala Montgó, a We Camp site surrounded by a forested setting. The camping grounds boasted various amenities, including a pool, bar, restaurant, play park, mini golf, sports courts, and necessary facilities such as showers and toilets.
Beyond the campsite, the local area offered plenty of activities to keep us engaged. From exploring the surroundings to enjoying the on-site amenities, our trip to Spain was marked by the simple pleasures of the journey.
