When adjusting the tripod leg lengths to centre the bubble, I grip the top part of the leg with my hand and use my thumb to support the lower leg, thereby exercising better control over the leg length.
Dear ma'am your doing method of centring leveling is too burning but I see to you as a surveyor it is astonishing for me and very enjoyable movement..... good job keep it up ♥️♥️♥️♥️
As a new technician surveyor, I just came across this type of observation using compas reading bearings, interesting, I learn alot with this video. Are you running a traverse with that method?
Do not have to "do 3 parts" long bubble adjustment. Never seen it done that way. Use 2 screws first, then the 3rd screw at 90 degrees turned. Recheck first adjustment, etc. May take a few times.
Why not put the left tripod leg in the soft ground rather that leaving it loose on the path? It is easy to adjust the tripod to lie over the observation point.
Can you tell us more about how to enter the data(bearings etc) and tell about sloping distance how to measure and how to record it... After all done how can we get this data of traverse.
