In this video I talk specifically about Traxxas Lipo batteries equipped with the ID TECHNOLOGY Plugs. I talk about how they are different from a traditional Traxxas TRX Plug and Why They Cost More Money. I also Answer the question “Are They Garbage?” Or “Are They Worth the Extra Cost?”
I do apologize because I did make a mistake in the video. I mentioned that Traxxas ID batteries are not compatible with the older style trx male connectors found on most older Traxxas ESCs. I did some digging and found that was false. It only applies to charging due to the lack of an external balance connector on the newer Traxxas ID Batteries which is why the ID Batteries are only compatible with Traxxas Branded Chargers.
