There was no drama and no legal repercussions were threatened. They realized in a hurry they’d completely named it wrong. The customers were all making fun of them and criticizing how it absolutely didn’t fit in mudboss.

The Mudboss/modified name thing is weird. The sounds like the name was never trademarked so traxxas was legally free to use it. The guy that created the name filed for the trademark AFTER traxxas released it. So it seems traxxas just voluntarily decided they wanted the name change.
You have to get all the info the gentleman that created the Mud Boss had asked Traxxas about getting together to make a Mud Boss but then left him out & just made one. The nerve & disrespect of Traxxas pretty much tells us who they are.
lol , it wasn’t cancelled nor was there any legal issues of any sort. They got some negative feedback and changed the name to Traxxas Modified and that’s it , life goes on
The fronts are a CVD and the rears are a dog bone like many RCs are. The the front and rear shafts fit the big rock, fireteam, and the 6s kratons and the 6s notorious.
Hy Earl, as far as I can remember from your video and what I see now, these are back flip 6s, the 4s are smaller in diameter by 14mm, I'm talking about the outcast 4s and big rock 6s that I bought for him back flip 6s
I searched now, there are AR510092 back flip 6s in your video, you really compare with the stock ones, it's the same video where you changed the servo from Savox, I also put the same servo on my big rock...thx!
