Awesome video Ready Set Rc you actually got me considering the Losi Super Baja.. I'm anxious to see how you handle the battery situation with UDR cause I want to use my own batteries as well.. Nice work my friend..👍👍

rocbud43 Without an issue but stay with soft packs and two 3S no bigger than 5200mah packs. Two 3S 6400 or larger packs will not fit. A single 4S will fit but I would not run this truck on anything less than 6S because of the size and weight. Love your Fox edition!

Some people don’t know in the back besides the tires which everyone knows is usable there the driveshaft that’s usable in the back, some people don’t know about the driveshaft in the back
Steve Declark Totally agree! There is a lot of money in this kit. A lot of people get caught on the fact there is plastic everywhere but Traxxas really put a lot of engineering and sponsoring (FOC and Rigid) in the truck along with working scale parts.
Great video, thanks for the comparison of RC's. I'm interested in buying the UDR but I also like the Super Baja Rey and can't make up my mind so.... If you could only have one which would you choose ? Any help would be great thanks.
SHAYEN 2320 Thanks for watching! If your thoughts are to bash the living snot out of the truck, I would say they SBR. It's stance is wider and there is less rollover. Now that not to say the UDR is not a basher. I just prefer to run it more scale than the SBR. For me, after running both, I don't think they are anything alike. But if I could only have one it would be the SBR, just more of an all around basher since that is more of my style of driving.
Thanks for replying, I own a lot of TRAXXAS RC's I love them but I also love my LOSI 5T and I do like the look of the SBR. Now to try and get one here in Australia all the hobby stores are out of stock at the moment. Thankyou again, love your channel 2 thumbs up.
RC Update, Here in Australia I can't get a SBR until September (boooooooo ) so have to wait until then, but for now I have purchased a UDR Fox edition. Your comparison video helped a lot thankyou again p.s I LOVE RC HOBBIES
Mohamad Hasan Which one or both. I have never ran them in sand but if you do I would recommend running sand paddle tires on either one. They should be fine in the sand just may run a little hotter than normal, so you will need to check your temps. Also clean up may take a little long with these trucks. Hope that helps.

Steve Declark Thanks brother! It looks so scale. I would love to run this with the SBR but it's only me when it comes to these larger trucks. My son is just not ready. I just got him on 3S. lol. Plus I don't think anyone wants to see any of these trucks on trainer or a lower speed mode, lol! But I'll try to do the test in the same venues to keep it close.
Great revue! Glad to see you pointed out about the fans actually being functional. Now I need to find your test drive video! And yeah, That's kind of a bummer deal from Traxxas, making their vehicles, AND chargers, dependent on their own proprietary battery connectors. Adapters do suck, but if you're handy with a soldering iron, you can just get the connectors, and solder them on to any battery you like I suppose. Also like that they cover the battery connections! I live in Fla. now, but used to frequent Willis Hobbies myself as well!

UDR=BFD I own too many Traxxas toys already, latest was the 8S Xmaxx. But this UDR was a disappointment at the hobby shop. Way smaller than I expected, closer to the Slash than the way bigger Xmaxx. So it falls in between them. They call the scale “Pro-scale”, because it’s nowhere near the 1/6 scale that everyone was waiting for. WTF were they thinking in those think tanks. Need new blood not another corporate employee. Another stumble after the 6S Xmaxx. Traxxas your losing has gone from 0 to now 2-in-a-row, in baseball you’d get benched. I’m looking toward the Losi Super Baja Rey-or is it-Ray? Which is as big as the Xmaxx.
Ken S It's Rey. So far the UDR is not off to a good start for me. The servo was DOA. Waiting for Traxxas to send me the replacement. It's currently on back order. I can't speak on the UDR yet but the SBR has tons of power and the size you are looking for. That trophy truck is a beast. Thanks for watching.
