Dude I had the e revo 2.0 and thought it was a beast until I got an Xmaxx yesterday. Two of my favorite handling RCs period. Just something about the way they soak up terrain. Throw some copperhead tires on the revo it completely changes it
My Xmaxx Ultimate arrived today. I can't do much as my batteries don't get here until Wednesday. I have a couple of 3300 3s that I powered it up with to test it. I am in the far north so I can't do much with it for about 6 weeks or so anyways. I also have the hardened steel 46 tooth on the way and roof protector.
I run 18 46 gearing (with stock tires) and on hot days the motor will get over 150°. I've been running the power hobby scorpion tires lately and drop my gearing down to 18 50. I absolutely love it. Motor stays around 120° and since these tires are taller I'm basically at the same speed. I like the way the stock tires hook up but i keep tearing them. They don't seem to hold up to our limestone pits
I do 4” x 1” 10lbs velcro strips for my batteries and they dont go anywhere I clean the area with degreaser and let the velcro sit over night so that it bonds nice! XRT also has the holes for the clips so the latches dont open Its the little holes on the ends when you lock it in. Also upgraded my stock esc and motor fans with proteks and have no problems with heat
Really cool you're bashing with somebody brother. In my opinion, it makes better content as well. I wish I had somebody other than my wife, it's hard as hell to get her out. 😅
