You can set up the vehicle. A combination of adjusting the suspension ride height shocks and adding weights to the front will keep it on the ground. Also using different tires will help
Did you mean gold springs? I don't see silver springs listed anywhere. Did you adjust preload and/or change shock oil after putting in the stiffer springs? I like your fan; I'll have to look into that. Can't wait to see some running videos with your new camera!
Hey iamthomastommy thanks for watching ! I have heard and read about the green! I explained in the video I didnt have 4 green so I put silver springs because i had them and they are their progressive rate are thge next step up from the green springs. I have not touched the fluid in them.!

You will never need these fan dude! look at the design of the xo-1 it's perfect! if you see the chassi, as an air entrance that will go direct to the motor! mine is totally stock, it's perfect the way it is. stay cool
It gets hot here in the summer and every single person that i know personally that own the xo-1 has told me the motor gets extremely hot dispite the vent in the chassis that is supposed to allow airflow. Just a precautionary measure and it looks cool too. Thanks for watching DIOGOCOSTA SILVA!!!

I just got a traxxas xo-1 and could not find any heatsink online that would fit the stock motor. I could not find the heatsink u mentioned. It would help if could advise. Thanks
I contacted rc hornet and they do not make any at the moment. Do u know of any heatsink that would fit the motor? I am serious, I could not find any online.
Hey truth. There are a lot of heatsink cooling fans online if you search. Type in xo-1 cooling fan or 1717kv motor cooling fan. There is a very good cooling fan out in the market but I'm unsure if it will fit the xo-1 1717kv motor. They are a company called Dragonslayer. Yea there are alot of heatsink. I already asked that ebay seller u mentioned and he responded it will not fit the xo -1. I ordered a heatsink and it did fit. I tried stretching the diameter and it turned out inapplicable. So far i have not found one that will fit.
Mark Dmitri i think the stock gearing wont help it go faster, maybe it might if the locked limit is less than the speed the car goes upto, it might go a bit faster but only till the point that the stock gearing can help the car to achieve and one more thing, bigger pinion gears=more speed, bigger spur gears=less speed
yea the weather is terrible around hear also. whats even worse for me is the huge parking lot where i was going to do my speed runs, the city is using to dump snow so theres huge snow mounds there.
